How this hotel is rated second in Macaé is beyond me. Although value in Macaé is generally lousy due to a shortage of hotels, The Blue Tree, Best Western Dubai, Othon, and Mercure are all far better quality properties than the Ibis. This hotel has all the regular drawbacks of an Ibis (tacky rooms, no stocked minibar, breakfast excluded), plus... More

Ibis hotels have low prices, that's why they are popular. The small rooms are usually acceptable, as they are basically the same in all Ibis hotels, and we know what to expect. This hotel however is very dirty, the first room I was shown was not made, the second room looked like it was cleaned, the bed was made, and... More

Couldn,t fault it nice modern rooms much like any other Ibis chain hotel. Location handy for the business side. Cross a dual carriage way opposite the hotel to the promenade, a fine selection of dodgy bars & people,,,,, exciting, leave wallet & passport in hotel.

Staff do not speak English making it difficult to talk with them. Bed was hard as rock Shower was inconsistent. Hot water was scalding hot at times and ice cold at others. Work place was not big enough to work around

Having stayed in another hotel (which I didn’t like) last time I went to Macaé, this time I decided to try staying at the Ibis. The main thing I like in this chain is that I never get bad surprises; the quality of the rooms and the atmosphere of the hotel is quite the same doesn’t matter the city you’re... More

The hotel is near the main beach in the city, but the most important, is close to the downtown, where almost every important company of Oil & Gas are located.

It`s a pure business hotel good for one night stay and easy to found. Restaurant is fair but should be have more attention of the waiters. Reception desk is very friendly but the payments take too long time do to some problems with the Credit Card lines.
