This was my first stay here after many visits to the Sheraton and the Comfort Suites. If you are willing to pay for the upgrade to a beach front balcony, you will enjoy your stay that much more.. It's spacious, has a Jacuzzi tub (the other two hotels only had showers in the beach front rooms I stayed in) and... More

Every month I stay in this hotel because of work, and it could be better. The... More

The hotel seems to be used mostly for oil company personnel coming or going to offshore locations. The different rooms have been clean, neat, and comfortable. I like the use of floor tile instead of carpet in all of the places I've stayed in Brazil. The restaurant's choices in the buffets were good. Wifi was usually slow but it worked... More

I stayed in this hotel for a bussines in Macaé in may of 2013. The cleaning and the quality of the room is average ok. If you stay in back side if the hotel you probably will fell anoyed with the noise of the near street that enter through the hole of the air conditioning because the bad acustic room... More

Located on the quiet part of Cavaleros beach, about a half mile walk to the bars and restaurants. Very nice lobby, but the rooms do not match the quality of the lobby. Lots of oilfield workers in their coveralls walking around. Mediocre breakfast. Had some rude interaction with the night front desk clerk. Not a holiday hotel.

I only spent one night at this hotel but it was enough to see the quality level you can expect. Hotel is well located right in front of the beach. Rooms are average in size and condition. However, when it comes to service, be prepared for disappointment. I checked in at the hotel and went up to the room to... More

A great hotel, beautiful new rooms, great restaurant, and coaches to seat in front of the beach while having drinks. Rooms are new, beds are comfortable, AC are silent. The actual owner can be regularly seen serving the guests at the reception and the restaurant!

Good location right on the beach front, this hotel is becoming a little run down and tired. Staff try yo be helpfull but fall short of what you would normally expect in a quality hotel. My case was taken off me as I arrived but instead of being taken to my room was left unattended in the hotel foya -... More

If you are in Macae, you will not be on holiday ! I guess you are there due to your work. Its a basic hotel and the staff are friendly enough. Only a few speak English. The food is average, and I found breakfast to be the best meal of the day. Lunch and dinner tend to be the buffet,... More

Macae is an oil town and the clientele reflects this. The hotel is a very good standard with attentive staff and good sized rooms. Some are better than others but I can't work out the system. Minibar is prohibitive (water at 5 R$) Go to supermarket and stock up. AC unit on the noisy side.
