The location is beautiful and the employees are nice here. The rooms seem very clean and decent enough, but I give them a poor rating as I suspect there may be a bedbug problem there. We had to be moved 3 times. We are part-time New Yorkers which has made us very alert to bedbugs. We check every room we... More

My husband and I stayed at the Wailea Marriott for five nights and had the most amazing time! The hotel staff were especially friendly and accommodating, always providing excellent service. The grounds are immaculate, overlooking a rocky coastline surrounded on each side by a sandy beach. We rented snorkel gear and walked to Ulea Beach - early in the morning... More

First off, congratulations. If you are reading this, that means you are likely doing your homework and researching things for you vacation. Like many others (I suspect) I also read the reviews frequently for this Marriot, and while they mostly trend positive, a few negative reviews had me a tad concerned. I can confidently say there was nothing at all... More

The flight, hotel, weather, everything was perfect. The hotel is located on the beach and within easy walking distance to beautiful snorkling beaches. Great walking paths and beautiful hotel complex. Several swimming pools, hot tubs, restaurants and shopping. A wonderful shopping mall directly next to the hotel with several shops and restaurants makes it really nice. Ocean front room made... We just returned from a nice vacation in Maui, beautiful island, nice hotel building but really poor service. - Lets start from the checkin...even though we had clearly mentioned that we were on honeymoon, and clearly selected and paid for an oceanfront, King beds room...our receptionist asked " two queen beds sir?" which we simultaneously and instantly replied NO! this... After reading some of the reviews, I was a little hesitant of my selection of this hotel; however, it turned out to be terrific. Rooms are adequate, clean - pools are great, not crowded, and steps away from a beach in either direction. This is a diamond in the rough. Wailea location is great, 40-45 minute drive to Kannapali, 30... More

I had never been to HI before and was skeptical as everyone is always fanatical about it. It was truly a beautiful place and the Marriott Resort at Wailea will be our go to for lodging for all of our future trips. The resort was immaculately maintained and the adults only infinity pool is one of the most beautiful pools... More

This resort is for three types of folks. Old alcoholics, people with kids, and boring couples. This place completely shuts down about an hour before sunset. There is absolutely nothing to do. There's one bar that stays open until around 11 and I never saw more than four people there. The rooms are moderately nice, the service is fine, and... More

We have styaed at this property almost every summer for the last 8 years and each time we go it seems to get better and better. It is definitely not the Four Seasons or the Grand Wailea, but the prices reflect that point too. It is MUCH more reasonable than the other two, has the same beach as the other... More

From the moment we arrived we were greeted with friendly smiles and excellent service. The grounds are amazing. Lush and spotless. Be sure to try the excellent food at the Mala restaurant. Both the restaurants on the property had the most friendly servers we have ever encountered on a vacation. The pools, views and beaches nearby are great. As much as... More
