Located in a beautiful place. Much more quiet than the nearby high end hotels (ie. Grand Wilea, Fairmont). This doesn't have the glitz but the scenery is beautiful. Not having a beach right in front is not really a big problem because there is a long walkway along the costline of all Wilea Hotels. I'd stay here again!

Stayed at the resort for the week of 3/13-3/20. I would recommend it. The grounds are nicely kept and the rooms are what you would expect at a Marriott- nice size, large bathroom, all the appropriate amenitites of a full-service hotel- fitness center, spa, activities, etc. Yes, as others have mentioned, the renovation of the lobby is taking place, but... We just returned from an 8 night stay. Our room was ocean front and only about 100 feet from the ocean and right on the 3 mile walking path thru Wailea. We had a very comfortable king sized bed and a pull out sofa, so the space was adequate. Decor is minimalist. You don't need a ton of space or... More

We had many problems during our stay. Staff that was not educated on the hotel itself. (where to get tennis gear), times places were open until. The main pool closed the second day of our stay to be reconstructed. This leaving only a small pool and tons of loud construction equipment to sit near. If you are going to close... More

We stayed here for our honeymoon and were a little worried on the mixed reviews. We loved it! It was very nice the rooms were new and the staff was great. Highly recommend the buffet breakfast they have at the hotel and an oceanside massage. The views are breathtaking. WOuld stay here again!

I was nervous after reading reviews and debated between the Marriott, the Renaissance, and even ponying up the extra cash for the Four Seasons or another, more expensive place along the Wailea strip. I AM SO GLAD I STUCK WITH THE MARRIOTT!!! The rooms are immaculate, completely renovated. The grounds are beautiful, and it's the closest hotel to the actual... More

We stayed at the Wailea Marriott for 7 days in mid-February. We were originally booked into the Four Seasons Wailea in what was advertised as "partial ocean view." When we got to the room (at the Four Seasons) and saw the "view" we were infuriated (a far-away sliver of an ocean view), complained to the manager and then left. We... More

While the main lobby area is still under construction, we really enjoyed our stay at this Marriott, which was our first in the Wailea area (vs. Ka'anapali area). We had booked an ocean view room (we used Marriott points plus paid an upgrade fee) and when we saw the slice of ocean to be viewed, we asked for another room... More

My husband and I just returned from 10 days @ the Marriott. we were actually there for a conference but stayed on an extra few days. Room: dispite ongoing reno's we were given a room right on the ocean and heard nothing other than the surf. We had a lovely king bed. but a warning , it (ours anyway )... More

I stayed at the Mariott Wailea for a week with my family over Christmas. Upon arrival we were upgraded to ocean view rooms in Hale 6 and they were beautiful. I was a bit wary after reading reviews on here but the rooms were very clean and modern. The bed was huge and very comfortable. Breakfast at the restaurant was... More
