While the main lobby area is still under construction, we really enjoyed our stay at this Marriott, which was our first in the Wailea area (vs. Ka'anapali area). We had booked an ocean view room (we used Marriott points plus paid an upgrade fee) and when we saw the slice of ocean to be viewed, we asked for another room... More

My husband and I just returned from 10 days @ the Marriott. we were actually there for a conference but stayed on an extra few days. Room: dispite ongoing reno's we were given a room right on the ocean and heard nothing other than the surf. We had a lovely king bed. but a warning , it (ours anyway )... More

I stayed at the Mariott Wailea for a week with my family over Christmas. Upon arrival we were upgraded to ocean view rooms in Hale 6 and they were beautiful. I was a bit wary after reading reviews on here but the rooms were very clean and modern. The bed was huge and very comfortable. Breakfast at the restaurant was... More

Just this week we returned from our 10 day vacation to Maui. We stayed at The Marriott Wailea and had a nice time. We had no expectations as to what we might experience since we knew there was construction going on. It was alittle inconvenient to get to the "lobby" and front desk area. The noise was not a problem... More

I have so many awesome memories from this place that I don't know where to begin. We spent the 2nd part of our honeymoon here and it just blew away Waikiki Beach (the 1st part). It was exactly like how I had always pictured Hawaii. We spent a week in Wailea and the Marriott was the best place around. Other... More

This is a GREAT hotel for families with young kids. We stayed at the Westin Resort in Kaanapali and much preferred the Marriott. We travelled with our 20 month old and had the time of our lives. That said, if you are going to splurge go to the Grand Waliea (we were VERY impressed when we walked over there); it... More

This is a review from a Marriott Platinum member. I read a ton of reviews and have traveled and stayed at multiple Marriott sites. I do believe that whether or not someone likes/dislikes a particular resort is based on previous experiences and what one is looking to get out of a particular stay. My wife and I celebrated our 25th... More

We stayed at the Wailea Marriott the week after Thanksgiving, 2006. We loved our room, which was recently refurbished in conjunction with the renovation project going on at the hotel. The bed was very comfortable, we had a really nice bathroom (except the water pressure was low) and a couch to chill out. We loved our little balcony and although... More

Our family of 4 (two girls ages 5 and 14) and my husband and I stayed at the Marriott Wailea for 3 nights on November 20-23. I have to admit, I was disappointed with the rooms and the look of the resort. We used 90,000 Marriott points for the 3 nights plus had to pay $75/night to upgrade to an... More

This resort is ABSOLUTELY beautiful! It has the most serene grounds with lounge chairs placed in excellent areas for afternoon naps or sunning or pure ocean view enjoyment. The pools are lovely. If you have kids, there is the BEST kid pool I have seen and the pool guy was even providing the Mommies with sunscreen! The grounds are HUGE... More
