We used marriott points for part of our stay and paid for the last night. The nice thing was, we got upgraded for our points stay but they let us keep our room for the extra night we paid for and did not make us switch. The hotel was very clean and when we complained because the tub didn't look... more

We stayed in the Marriott May 30 - June 4th. We loved our stay here. The room was booked using Marriott points. My husband is Platinum Elite, and we were treated great. The room was a deluxe ocean front room which found us soooo close to the ocean. We were in room 2318. Perfect! Our favorite spot was the adult... more

We stayed at the Marriott Wailea May 14-20 and found it to be quiet, relaxing and beautiful. All the staff were friendly and helpful. We self parked which was fine. The concierge made dinner reservations several times for us and we were given great tables. We travel to Maui almost every year and were familiar with the property when it... more

Wonderful facility. Recent refurbishment is superb except for the beds and pillows which were for our comfort marsh mellow soft resulting in little support and aching backs in the morning. Other than this slight issue, the Wailea Marriott boasts a very accommodating staff and a newly constructed adults only pool. Small refrigerators in each room are a plus. The breakfast... more

I booked four nights of stay at the Marriott Wailea resort by using more than 100K of Marriott points. My wife and I were extremely disappointed at this “category 7” Marriott property (the highest category in Marriott family). We made the decision to checkout the next day only three hours after we checked in. Here is a summary our my... more

We stayed here in 2003. I have visited Hawaii on several occasions and have stayed a variety of hotels/resorts. This is a solid value for the money. To be on Maui, in Wailea, I think this is the best value in that area. There are some very swanky places around it that are spectacular but you will pay for that.... more

Clean, decent sized rooms, good location. Nice pool. During my honeymoon, the Marriott decided to completely replant the vegetation in the circular drive in the front of the hotel. They had no problem booking us in a room just above said "re-planting." Quite a ruckus for 7am. Backup warning beepers sound remarkably like an alarm clock when you're that close.... more

My husband & I just returned from a 9 day stay at this hotel. We had a fabulous experience and would highly recommend staying here. The service was outstanding. Arman checked us in & worked with us until we found a room that had the view we were looking for. (we viewed 3 different rooms) We used Marriott points for... more

A friend and I stayed at the Wailea Marriot on our first trip to Maui in Feb 2008. My first impression upon arriving was that the grounds of the hotel were breathtaking! Not a cheap place, but worth a splurge for a few days :) Check-in was fine without any problems. We had a partial ocean view room which was... more

My family and I just returned from a very relaxing 8 day vacation at the Waliea Beach Marriott. Our family arrived on two different days, but check-in was a breeze. In order to keep our family close, and with connecting rooms, we were upgraded to oceanfront rooms free of charge. The rooms were nice. I think they could have splurged... more
