My extended family of 6 (wife's parents / 5 and 3 year old children) just returned from a 5 night stay at the Wailea Marriott. We are Platinum members and used points for our rooms. Overall, the stay was a mixed bag. The Marriot is a mish mash of buildings on a beautiful waterfront piece of property. Each “hale” is... more

I'm a Platinum member and booked this stay with points. Overall, I was satisfied. If this is your first time at Maui, stay in the Kaanapali area in West Maui, rather than the South Maui area. West Maui is much much more full of life. If you have to stay in South Maui, I can recommend this hotel, with some... more

First, a note of thanks to other tripadvisors whose comments helped up know what to expect. Pros: --great ocean views from the lobby and swimming pools, grounds. Our room had a bit of ocean view if you stepped on to the lanai which was nice. --serenity pool is quiet (no cell phones or kids) and refreshing swim with ocean views.... more

We stayed at the Wailea Marriott for the last part of our honeymoon. First the positives: the hotel lobby and grounds are nice - open and attractive; the adult infinity pool (salt, no chlorine) at sunset is incredible; restaurant dinners were fantastic; room service was excellent the two meals we had; the price for our room was less expensive than... more

In itself, it is a very nice hotel. Nice pools (very hard to find a lounge chair), gorgeous lobby, nice rooms. However, at $600 odd dollars, stay at the Grand Wailea. It's not much more, and is a much better experience. You get access to their amazing series of pools and water parks, and gorgeous grounds. The Marriott was plenty... more

Our stay at the Marriott Wailea Hotel and Spa was the most relaxing, uneventful stay a couple could ever experience. the rooms are stunning. The views are extraordinary. The serenity pool is intoxicating. The walking path along miles of the Pacific is inviting. The location is central to southwestern Maui. The beaches are plentiful and all different. The restaurants in... more

From the minute we set foot on the property I was disappointed. If you are coming in from the airport - as most are - you can't see the sign! It faces the other direction. Once we made it to the front desk, after getting lost in the parking garage (no signs), the girl behind the desk was kind of... more

Stayed for 7 nights on Marriott Points, and was rewarded with an ocean view room that overlooked the serenity pool. I am Marriott Platinum, and it was a great upgrade. Room was fine, after a week there, I like the soft bedding and now see why they tile their rooms....we tracked in quite a bit of sand and other stuff... more

I just stayed at the Wailea Beach Marriot Resort & Spa for my honeymoon and must say that it was one of the worst experiences I could have imagined. First, I must say that the location is beautiful, the resort is set up perfectly and from appearances, you almost think that you have died and gone to heaven. However, that... more

When I booked our trip to Maui, it was very spur-of-moment. We used airline rewards miles to book our plane tickets and needed a "cheap" place to stay also for the week. I decided to try Priceline for our hotel and as locations I choose Wailea and Ka'anapali since I heard that is where the "action" was. The hotel that... more
