Our stay at 53D was absolutely amazing! My wife, 4-year-old son, and myself we're blown away for the moment we drove up and saw the manicured landscape with amazing flowers, trees and bushes. The condo itself is immaculate! Artfully decorated but warm and inviting. It has spectacular views of the ocean from the living room and kitchen as well as... more

We have been staying at Ekahi, Wailea, Maui, Hawaii since 1987 for a total of 14 visits. As a Foreign Service (retired) couple, we have traveled extensively & stayed in every kind of lodging possible. These condoes are much nicer than hotel rooms, even the luxury places along the Maui shores. We fall asleep to birdsong & palm leaves rustling... more

My wife and I and our adult son and his girlfriend just completed a wonderful vacation in unit 4 A of the Ekahi Wailea resort. We have stayed in Ekahi a number of times, as well as having stayed in other condos on Maui, the Big Island and Kaui. This unit was by far the best. It was large, with... more

We were in Wailea for a family wedding being held at the Grand Wailea. The Ekahi Village was the perfect commute to and from the Grand Wailea and Wailea shops/restaurants, which were an easy stroll for the energetic via either the road or beach. We stayed in a 1bed garden flat (unit 10E) and it was beautifully decorated with contemporary... more

This was our 4th time in Maui-6th time in Hawaii. We have never stayed in the Wailea area before. This condo was just great! We had a very clean, somewhat dated condo in building 52. Very well stocked, beautiful beautiful landscaping. We were very close to the road and I felt like an idiot. It was really loud. Duh. It... more

My husband and 2 sons (19 & 20) and I stayed in unit 5B, mid January for 5 days. The unit pictures (VRBO) and property seemed to be in a good location, and was in the "Lower" section of the village closer to the beach. We've stayed in many condo units in Maui, and this was our worst experience!!! It... more

We stayed in unit 29D in Feb 2009. Great 1 Bedroom unit with great view and great set up. Destination Resorts was easy to work with and took care of us. For the price, you can't beat the location, the access to the beach and other activities. more

We stayed in 6C. The condo itself was just ok. Needs to be seriously updated, but was very clean, which is really all that matters since we only spent time there to sleep. I had a 3 minute walk to the pool and beach. Which was fantastic. I'm not a pool person if I have a beach at my backdoor,... more

We stayed in unit # 4A- two bedroom 3 bath(One room and 1 bath technically # 4E) This location was wonderful-quiet building, jungle like yard, 3 decks 1 with sun. This condo is on two levels with no one above or below you. Couple min walk to the beach. Problems:the unit is 30 years old, its showing its age, we had... more

Management response from

We take pride in our condo units and it is unfortunate when someone has an unpleasant experience. Our townhouse is 1800 square feet, two bedrooms, which include 1 king, 1 queen, and a twin bed, also 2.5 bathrooms. It is located away from the road noise and so close to the beach you can hear the surf. Part of being...

We loved staying at 17F Ekahi - lovely condo - great view. Hope to have many more visits (whenever we get to Maui). And the owner couldn't have been more helpful. more
