These are condominiums. Ours was a one bedroom, two bath. We were skeptical about staying in a condo as opposed to a resort hotel but were convinced by friends to give it a try. It was fabulous. While we ate all dinners out (who wants to cook on vacation) we loved having a full kitchen for breakfast and snacks. We... More

Aloha...We appreciate the fabulous rating and I am so glad you found your first condo experience to be so enjoyable. Vacationing in a private residence does have its benefits offering all the comforts of home in a resort setting. Hopefully you will think of us again the next time you are visiting Maui. We have loved Ekahi since our first stay in 1987. We have returned 15 times & are planning another visit in May for our 40th anniversary. We always tell all of our friends, it's the best place to stay in Wailea if you want peace & quiet & a homey, neighborhood atmosphere. Many resorts are nearby for dining, shopping &... More

13F Ekhai Village is ideally located in the central part of the property, close to the "quiet pool", and there is absolutely NO traffic noise to be heard. A bonus, as many of the properties at Ekahi have a lot of road noise. The unit is very well equipped and cared for, two great bathrooms, two murphy beds and a... More

Ekahi Village is a great location with multiple pools and direct beach access. The pavilion has charcoal grilling area and appliances to store the days food and drink. The family pool area is spacious with plenty chairs and tables. 20F was an adequate condo and the service staff are friendly and helpful. The unit has not been updated in a... More

We've stayed in multiple Ekahi units during our 17 visits and always glad we chose Ekahi. We're in 41A (again) this year. Nice 2 bedroom/2 bath with a nice Lanai and close to the upper quiet pool. And Cyndi at mauiaplceapart is terrific. Mahalo!

We recently stayed in the resort for 10 days before Christmas and thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Maui - in large part due to this lovely condo. Each property is individually owned. Our unit 20 F was managed by Destination resorts - It is located in an outdoor Mall by main Highway 31 close to the Ekahi village. We had... More

We just returned from a one-week vacation where we stayed in Ekahi 12E. Ekahi 12E is an exceptional 1BR condo. It is on the second floor, and has a beautiful view of the ocean. The rooms are spacious and well furnished. The Weber grill on the lanai was clean and performed well. The kitchen was well supplied. The cleaning service... More

We stayed in a condo managed by Destination Resorts. The condo was beautiful with a great ocean view from the lanai. It was well stocked, had a washer/dryer, towels replenished and bed made every day and cleaning every other day. Sammy did a great job taking care of the cleaning. The condo had the most wonderful bathrooms and even though... More

We knew how the Ekahi village worked - it's a big are full of condos that are all privately owned, and therefore you might get something hat hasn't been looked after or modernised, but based on the many excellent reviews on here, you were much more likely to get one that was in tip top condition. We definitely got a... More

Overall: good value, nice grounds, very near high-end hotels, good beaches, condo we got badly in need of updating. These condos are individually owned with some full-time residents. We were looking for a quiet non-hotel location and Wailea Ekahi fits the bill perfectly. Several small pools in the complex with a large pool and beach entrance. No services at the... More
