Bottom line: The Ekahi Village, as the least expensive of the Destination Resort condos, is a great bet for your trip to Maui: Your room won't be as fancy as some of they're more expensive condos, but you have direct beach access, in a great location, and will get a clean, nicely furnished, comfortable condo. I traveled there for a... More

Destination Resorts were very helpful throughout our stay. Wailea Ekahi Village is a nice property with lovely gardens. Condos are located from the road down to the water. Make sure you book a condo that is away from the road. We stayed one night in unit 52E which was a basic studio, but the balcony has basically no view (the... More

Rented unit 49d. Very nicely appointed, huge bedroom and bathroom/dressing area, spectacular views. Unfortunately located at the top of the property near the road, which is noisy dawn to at least 11 pm at night. Made sitting out on the lanai not nearly as pleasant as it could have been. If traffic doesn't bug you this unit is otherwise pretty... More

Stayed here over Christmas week so the place was packed. Stayed in 10E. If you stay here, you want to be in one of the first 6-8 buildings nearest the pool/ beach. Otherwise it is a hike to get all your stuff down to the beach. Condos are best for families that want the ability to go between beach and... More

We stayed in unit 43B for 11 days during our honeymoon and we loved it. It is a large and clean one bedroom unit with 2 baths, air conditioning in the bedroom, a full kitchen, a washer and dryer and a gorgeous patio right off of the living room and kitchen. This unit is one of the furthest away from... More

The studio condo we had at Wailea Ekahi Village was perfect for our four-night stay. We had to check in at the Destination Resorts office nearby, not at the property. The air conditioned condo had a small -- but adequate -- full kitchen, washer and dryer, small bath with shower (no tub), a large living/bedroom area with TV, and a... More

We stayed at the Wailea Ekahi Village in a one bedroom unit on December 1-7, 2014. We used a Livingsocial internet deal of 6 nights plus compact rental car for $1392 or 31% off the common discounted travel internet rates for a garden view room. The drhmaui web site lists a three day minimum stay, and the rack rate does... More

We stayed in a studio unit 9D. The location was absolutely perfect -- 30-second walk to the beach and ocean view from the lanai. The Wailea Ekahi property overall is wonderful -- beautiful grounds, 3 pools, quiet and tranquil atmosphere. With that said, the unit itself was dated and in need of maintenance (closet handles and towel hangers falling off;... More

The unit that we rented was very dated and in need of renovation but, that being said, the unit was very comfortable, quiet and in a great location. It was a five minute downhill walk, from our unit, in building 52, to a lovely pool which was on the beach. You could walk along the beach on a paved path... More

I have been there different times of the year and it's always perfect. The most idilic grounds (that explains the $850 month hoa fee!) Multiple pools, a big one by the beach with lots of kiddos and a few others, some just for adults! Nice stroll to the Wailea Mall and you can also walk along the beach by all... More
