This hotel is up on the hill with amazing views - which creates a truly serene and relaxing stay. The beach is a short hope away via the free courtesy aqua jeep, and the staff here are all amazing - from desk staff (Aika is charmed!) to housekeepers and the managers Marcus and Kyoko so courteous and helpful. There are... more

As other have mentioned this is really a quiet getaway place. If you like being anonymous you will love it here - if not, you probably won't... We had a long weekend in Maui and we really used this place as a base to do some diving, and get away from crowds. We didn't want to stay at a big... more

From the moment we checked in, we were wowed by this hotel. A friend had recommended we check it out and so we finally did. Wailea is special place in and of itself however this hotel made it all the more enjoyable. The massive ceiling in the main lobby area, the waterfalls, koi fish and beautiful grounds made for a... more

I stayed four nights in the hotel. I had read the reviews and wasn't sure if the room was going to be particulary nice ( I read a few comments about it needing updating), but was very pleasantly surprised. Maybe there were other rooms that have not been updated, but my room was gorgeous. My lanai was perched over the... more

Our stay at the Hotel Wailea was by far the most relaxing vacation my wife and I have had in years! Our room was very spacious, updated with many modern features, and the view was amazing. We enjoyed watching the sun setting over Lanai and Molokini every night right from our lanai. The large expanse of the property gave us... more

I visited the Hotel Wailea for the second leg of my stay in Maui and found it to be top notch. The rooms are divided into quadplex units (2 upper and 2 lower), and were quite spacious--with a mini kitchenette. The hotel provided a complimentary continental breakfast which made up for the absence of a cafe. There is an excellent... more

I stayed in Wailea for 4 days on my honeymoon through the islands. The rooms were a little dated but the bed was comfortable and the views were awesome (good sunset from our room). The service was great and friendly, we were a little concerned that we saw maybe 5-10 guests there the whole time but after talking with a... more

Our son Tom's wedding site recommended the Hotel Wailea for our stay while we there for he and Jennifer's August 30th wedding. From that moment on we were treated with such respect and kindness that we would definately go back to the Hotel Wailea. The young men who took care of our luggage greeted us as if they had known... more

The views are the best part of the hotel. The rooms are outdated with stained carpets and worn appliances. Even though you have a kitchen, no microwaive- you have to rent it. Staff very friendly and attending although do not count on breakfast, most of the time out of milk and half of the things that you thought you are... more
