My husband and I just completed an eight night stay at Hotel Wailea and our stay was excellent and exceeded our expectations. We love Hawaii and have stayed at competing properties in the area before and Hotel Wailea is by far our favorite. We really felt at home and very relaxed. Our Ocean view suite was renovated with high quality... More

I made last minute booking at this hotel after our family was left with electricity at Makena Resort. Front desk staff and Manager Chris were accommodating us with early check-in! Our family vacation was not going as planned upto this point. Service and accommodation at Hotel Wailea made our vacation worthwhile... In-room dining orders, food was delivered hot and promptly.... My husband and I had planned to go to Hawaii and stay in Maui for our honeymoon, we searched around for hotels in the area and saw that most things in Maui was pretty pricey! We saw hotel Wailea and thought looked really nice had the rooms been re done, it looked good for the price but again we were... More

The hotel is unique. The service is personal. With only around 70 rooms each in 4 room buildings generously spread around the mature Japanese gardens even at full occupancy it felt empty. This makes for a very romantic, quiet getaway. It also leads to the hotels special touch, the staff get to know you, not because you're a name on... More

I will not repeat excellent reviews for the renovated rooms, friendly and helpful staff, beautiful ocean and mountain views. I would like to mention the newly renovated pool with a hot tub and a fireplace. Make sure to visit it after sunset and enjoy a romantic evening!

This hotel had a very private feel to it unlike the other two we visited in the area (Andaz and Grand Wailea). Very personable staff, awesome modern condo looking rooms with big balconies, beautiful grounds - it feels like staying in a very rich relative's house. You could come and go to your room without ever passing through the lobby... More

My husband and I just spent 3 nights at the Hotel Wailea, and it was lovely. As many others have stated, the property is under renovation. However, we were out of the room by 8:00 every morning to hit up the beach, so construction never once bothered us. Any time we had a concern, from large to small, guest services... More

This was a last minute arrangement and we were not sure what to expect since some pictures were showing rooms that seemed quite dated and some very luxurious. Upon arrival we were informed that the hotel was in the middle of a huge renovation and the room we got (a luxury suit with partial ocean view) was amazing! However, our... More

Spent six of the best nights of our lives on Honeymoon at this wonderful hotel. Set amongst the most beautiful scenery, it has definitely been a labour of love for whoever had the concept. We were greeted on arrival at reception by Krissy, she was exceptionally helpful and offered us lots of advice on what to do and where to... More

Stayed at Hotel Wailea at the beginning of July 2014 for eight nights. The hotel exceeded every expectation. The staff was amazing in every way. Always willing to go above and beyond. The grounds are gorgeous and quite peaceful. Sharing a cup of coffee, listening to the birds sing on the lanai, as the sun comes up was the perfect... More
