If you are looking for a hotel in Wailea (don't want to pay $300+ for a room) with a few condo type features, then the Hotel Wailea is for you. We just returned from staying 4 days at the Hotel Wailea. We had to change rooms once due to the bathroom tiles in the first room having chips/peeled paint (looked... more

I went with a couple of mates and the placed simply ROCKED! Sophisticated styling in the large rooms and great food in the new restaurant. This place seems to be a secret spot for celebs (we had a laugh with Eddie Murphy by the pool...). Keep this one on your short list if you;re looking for a hip spot at... more

After visiting Maui time and time again, we have finally found the perfect hotel! There is nothing ordinary about this gem boutique hotel. Each room is a suite and has a full ocean view (not the bend over the railing type of view). The service is exceptional and the decor is soothing and ultra-tasteful. We were so pleased with the... more

We stayed a week at Hotel Wailea (formerly Diamond Resort) and were very pleased. We had a great time and would stay there again. If you're looking for action and lots going on, this probably isn't your place, but if you want something serene and peaceful and want to stay in wonderful Wailea without paying $500, $600 a night or... more

The rooms were suite size and very clean. The friendleness of the staff and their knowledge of things to do and their willingness to book reservations at even other restaurants added to the enjoyment of our stay. The location is off the beach which makes it a peaceful place to stay. They provided shuttle service to and from the beach with... more

We stayed in spacious ground level room with a nice size patio. Rooms are 80's style but clean and comfortable. The grounds are beautiful with waterfalls, lakes and plenty of bird life. There is a very cute family of 3 ducks that roams the resort along with quails, cardinals, etc. Very friendly staff and a generally quiet and peaceful resort.... more

This was a nice place - very quiet - you often felt like you were the only guests at the resort. Rooms aren't the most modern but clean, situated in separate bungalows throughout the property - which was very beautifully landscape. The staff was very nice and accommodating. It's off the beach so you will have to walk or drive... more

Beautiful rooms, an excellent location and extremely helpful staff made our stay most enjoyable. We have stayed in many hotels and we can assure you that the staff here is equal or better than any five star hotel we know. The size of the apartment'/room is extremely generous by anyone's standards and well organized with a small kitchen so you... more
