Hotel Wailea is exactly what we were looking for in a Maui vacation. Its upscale without being pretentious, its luxerious without being breaking the bank, and best of all for us, there weren't a ton of screaming kids. The tradeoff is that the hotel is not on the beach but the hotel makes up for it with its amenities including... More

This resort is perfect for couples. It's very peaceful. There isn't the hundreds of screaming children you find at many other resorts. The grounds are beautiful! Very well cared for. We knew it was not on the beach and wondered if it would be a problem, because we love the beach. It hasn't been. There's a shuttle service to a... More

Wonderful small luxury hotel with beautifully landscaped grounds, excellent panoramic hillside views of Wailea shoreline and Molokini. Mercedes Benz limousine to private beach club and local restaurants included, as well as outrigger canoe experience. Friendly service, great pool.

My husband and I live on Oahu, and wanted to decompress at a nice resort during fall break. We chose this hotel because of all the amenities that were offered, and the reviews provided. The accommodations were lovely. We really enjoyed staying in a "mini apartment" rather than a small hotel room. The pool and bar area offer comfortable lounges,... More

First, be aware it is not on the beach. The tradeoff is spectacular panoramic views of Kaho'olawe and Molokini. Our room was huge, with ample sitting area and a kitchenette. We took advantage of the kitchenette by stocking up on breakfast supplies and always eating our first meal of the day in our room. There is no stove, and equipment... More

We stayed at Hotel Wailea for the first four days of our honeymoon, and we had a fantastic time. The hotel is beautiful and recently remodeled. The grounds and giant waterfall/pond took our breath away when we arrived. Our oceanview room was so spacious, and our private lanai had a comfortable cushioned chaise and a table, perfect to lounge and... More

Background/Booking: My husband and I traveled to Maui to celebrate a belated anniversary. We found Hotel Wailea through a sale on Jetsetter. The Jetsetter package included the room rate, taxes and a nightly $25 resort fee. Arrival/Check-in: We arrived after check-in time (3 pm) and our room was ready. Check-in was quick and after a brief overview of the hotel... More

Hotel Wailea unfortunately wasn't our first choice when we decided to honeymoon in Maui, but this hotel truly saved our trip!! We arrived at our originally booked hotel and it was the exact opposite of what it portrayed on it's website. After being put in 2 different rooms with nothing but problems, we decided to cancel our reservation and find... More

Love this hotel! Peaceful getaway without the kids. The staff could not be nicer or more accommodating from the people at the front desk to the server at breakfast to the waitress at the bar. The rooms are all updated, very modern bathrooms. The grounds are gorgeous and the restaurant here called Capische is absolutely outstanding! Go for a romantic... More
