Large hotel in very small community (130 people) serving south Greenland’s main transit airport for international arrivals. Despite the friendly welcome and attractive gift shop much could be improved. Rooms are very basic with thin walls, bathrooms dingy and dated with exposed pipes in the ceiling. There was also exposed wiring in corridor ceilings. The restaurant was serving Greenlandic buffet... More

For all of those who are coming here. You are adventurers, out of the box doers, and seekers of nature. Sure, you may pay a little more, but you don't want a canned vacation. You are a little more Gertrude Bell than Clark Griswold. This is a great hotel. Way more than what you need. Sure, they make a living... More

My room was small, but clean and functional. I used it primarily for sleeping and cataloging the photographs I took of the marvelous physical & cultural landscape of South Greenland. Bed was comfortable. The staff was friendly & helpful. Food in the hotel restaurant was first class. You must try the Greenland Buffet if available when you are there. Nice... More

not so in Narsarsuaq. Rooms are small and in a bad need of a make-over, bathrooms smell musty, the cafeteria resembles a boarding school and the rates they ask are obscene. However, there is a bar and staff is mostly friendly and hey, it's the only option in whole southern Greenpand. So bear it or stay away!

OMG, no reason to go to this place whatsoever. Looking like old school or army builduings, the place lacks anything, charme, friendly staff, good food, nice bar? Nothing, the servbice was appaling, the food was lousy, the only acceptable thing was the breakfast. Rooms look cheap, shower is poor horror, and the whole village is a waist of time. Sorry folks,... Stayed here end of August 2011 for one night and did not have high expectations. The hotel and restaurant are very basic, and that is fine. But they also lack charm and that's the problem. I only stayed overnight before boarding a sailboat and was happy to leave. In Narsarsuaq there are no real alternatives, so if you need a... More

There is very little at Narsarsuaq, except a huge runway! However, we stopped her as a start to our greenland holiday. The hotel is plain and boxy (but so is everything else in Narsarsuaq so it does not look out of place). The rooms are a bit tired, but clean and the bed was comfortable. The TV was positoned so... Narsarsuaq Hotel is close to the airport in South Greenland. The overall impression is dated. Rooms are ok. The cafetaria where breakfast is served is very basic. The restaurant upstairs lacks professional staff and so does the reception. There is often some confusion, also due to English language problems. However, there is not much choice in this secluded place and this... More

We went to Hotel Narsarsuaq for a day while touring Greenland. While the appearance of the hotel from the outside is plain and boring, it is huge. It is one of the biggest hotels I have ever seen. The food was delicious. The value of the food and the hotel was excellent. We loved our room. You wouldn't expect to... More
