Icefjord hotel in Ilulissat is pleasant, relatively small, with stunning, breathtaking views over Disko Bay, where one can spend almost an entire day just staring out as the huge icebergs go floating by. Quite an experience! Rooms are comfortable, the ones on the second floor with French varandas, allowing even greater views. Restaurant serves good, Greenlandic specialities.

We had a fantastic room with a beautiful view. But as with all things in Greenland, this hotel is EXPENSIVE and so is everything in it. The internet is absolutely ridiculously priced but the computer in the lobby was usually available to send a quick email. The breakfast buffet is EXCELLENT and included in the price so be sure not... We were fortunate enough to be upgraded to a superior Kajak room and were delighted with this room and its wonderful view out over the fjord. However the standard Puisi rooms are very small indeed with views to the town's oil storage tanks. The bathrooms are barely large enough to turn around in and even the double beds are only... More

The Artic hotel is a very well managed and delightful hotel, offering great rooms, on a stunning location overlooking the bay of Ilulissat and its proverbial icebergs. Certainly the new expansion with the umiak rooms is very attractive. Staff, in particular the serving staff, is great. The restaurant serves more than brilliant food for dinner, worthy of any excellent restaurant... More

Stayed here for 2 nights - then 1 night in Camp Eqi - then again 2 nights at the hotel. Both times we had been given the superior room with a beautiful view over the fjord. The hotel provides airport transfers (extra charge) and is very well situated. It is away from the town "centre" but as it provides hourly... More

We stayed here for three nights and we had a terrific time for the most part. The rooms are small, but nicely appointed, clean and comfortable with a great view. The hotel is about a 15 min walk from the town, but it runs complimentary shuttles every hour to the city center, which was convenient when it was cold or... More

Hotel Arctic definitely lived to its 4 star status, if not an improvement on that. I stayed in a superior plus room which roomed three people. It was modern and had all the appliances one needs nowadays. I would have to say that the breakfast was a real standout to me. It was a buffet with more than any of... More

We stayed two nights in a Superior Plus room for three. The pull out sofa bed was comfortable (which is not always the case with sofa beds). The room was a good size even with the sofa bed pulled out. The buffet breakfast had a good selection and was very tasty. We ate in the cafe two nights and although... More

superb location; the hotel sits across the bay where you can see icebergs floating across. Rooms are great We stayed at the basic category Puisi rooms for two nights. Small rooms but well designed with good fittings and accessories, clean toilets. Our room number 100 had a city room and a partial bay view. Excellent view For the third night... More
