I am amazed at some of these negative reviews. My daughter and I have been over 20 times to Rancho Luna. The only complainers we have met are the one's want a 5 star at a 1 star price. Understand - it is not a 5 star. But everything is ok and it is good value for money. The town... more

Just wanted to add my five cents about Rancho Luna in Cienfuegos, Cuba. Before going there, i've read the reviews and was hard time making my decision to go there. However, i wasn't going alone, so i end up staying a week in Rancho Luna. The place has a different rating, from one star to three stars. Overall i would... more

I have been coming to Rancho Luna Resort for almost 12 years and have watched it mature from one having had times of no hot water, food rationings and not enough chairs to go around to one that has been completely rebuilt with modern lighting, safety deposit boxes and air conditioners, The food lacks ice sculpures, but is wholesome and... more

If you want cheap booze and like to chase yong <14 yrs old then this is your hang out. Rooms are less than frugal, food is adequate, clientle is mostly old men picking up very young Cuban Girls -- looks lie it was built by the Russians during the "Special Period" This is listed as a 2 star resort --... more

A terrible location, 35 minutes from the nearest town, (Cienfuegos). This place looks like it was built during the years of Russian influence in Cuba. It has that stark, cheap, communist-barren look. My room was dark, furniture falling apart, with heavy black mold in every grout joint in the shower. The only electrical outlet in the room, 220 volt, was... more

PLEASE NOTE THAT DUE TO THE LACK OF ENTERTAINMENT, I GAVE THE SERVICE A ONE. HOWEVER THE REST OF THE SERVICE (LIKE FRONT DESK, MAID, MAINTENANCE, ETC) WAS EXCELLENT. Well, i will try to be brief. I just got back today from Club Rancho Luna. It is a Club Amigo chain and like most Club Amigo chains, the layouts are... more

I stayed here for two nights as there was a cheap deal going on and went mainly to dive/snorkel. I was disappointed with the place. The rooms were average but smelt of damp, food was not great unless you want uncooked rice and weird meat everyday and also felt like I was staying in a brothel rather that a hotel... more

We were @ Rancho Luna from Apr24-May1/09. Booking last minute was pretty stressfull this year after the Conquest issues drove prices up by 100% in some cases. We didn't have any other choice but Rancho Luna and were pretty concerned by the negative reviews. We were pleasantly surprised and had a great time. Flight: We landed in Santa Clara not... more

We went for a two week stay at this hotel. We usually go to Marea del Portillo in Cuba so we thought that change would do us good. We were quite disapointed with our choice... There is no animation at this hotel, during the two weeks we were there, we only had a few shows at night, the other nights... more
