This place has gone down in customer service. Sometimes items are stolen by staff. The beach has too many locals and is dirty. It's basically a sex tourist place where lots of prostitution is occurring. Not a family friendly place. Service does not smile unless you tip, seems like everyone is waiting for money at this place.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The beach is not beautiful but it has a relaxing atmosphere. If you stay at this place, I recommend to visit "El nicho" where you will find small waterfalls with clean turquoise water. You can take a swim and get refreshed. The hotel is not a luxury one so you get what you... More

Our 5th time at Rancho Luna with our dive club. Yes, it's not fancy. We tell friends coming for the first time to have low expectations so they will be happily surprised by what IS there ;) Basically, think roadside motel. Rooms: hit or miss. Ours was clean, but there was mold in 3 other rooms. Cleaned daily but sheets... More

Hi There, Just came home yesterday from this property! We were a little discouraged at first but the place grows on you after awhile. Here are some things I would advise you to not leave home without: 1/ Hairdryer...not provided 2/ Shampoo and conditioner 3/ mosquito spray and after bite (dont leave your window open in the evening ever) 4/... Only there for three nights as part of a tour. The food was so bad that although all inclusive went into Cienfuegos after first night for dinner. Dogs roaming the hotel and grounds unchecked. Gin and tonic turned out to be gin and water. Very long queues to get served at the bar one night as they appeared to be... More

Just recently came back from Rancho Luna. I wrote the last review in 2013 for this Hotel. Didn't changed much since that time regarding service and food. I doube that that will ever change. They did made some rejuvenation of the service stuff; these are younger and more professional. The food is maybe worse than before. There is no consistency... More

We ended up in this hotel by mistake. It was full of Canadian men, who can fly down from Toronto very cheaply, and get free food, beer and a young girl. It felt like being in the exercise yard of Pentridge !!! The beach is average (this is coming from an Australian) but is full of loud, noisy hustlers selling... More

I just arrived from a week at Rancho Luna, Cienfuegos. Having traveled a lot in Cuba, the first thing I have to say to anyone thinking about going there is that you shouldn't expect the typical clear turquoise never-ending white sanded cuban beach. This beach is pretty rough and natural, which is beautiful but if you travel only for beaches,... More

Housing options are limited in Cuba, and while this has potentially great public areas and a beach location, the bedrooms are decrepit and dirty and the food is scary. If you like cheap rum, beer and good coffee, the open bar is pretty nice, and for the most part, the staff is anxious to please, but this a hotel that... More
