I was staying in this family house for two nights in Cienfuegos with my friend. The family house is very centrally located and just not more than one minute' walk to Parque Jose Marti and about 10-15 minutes' walk to Viazul bus terminal. The house owner, Armando & Lenor are very nice family couple, also her lovely cats!! The old... More

This Casa is just beside the main square in the centre of the new part of Cienfuegos. Close to bars, shopping & restaurants. It is an old colonial house with a lovely roof terrace with a good view of the city where you can sit and relax. Breakfast was good and we tried the famous chicken in cola for dinner... More

I loved this town - the people were so nice, found some unique art and we felt very easy walking around with no hassle - just a great relaxed vibe about the place. We had lovely time in this casa, both of the owners were welcoming - we were given maps, watched welcoming video and got a real mama reception... More

This casa is right in the centre of Cienfuegos just off the main plaza within walking distance to most sights. The casa itself is wonderfully quirky full of the owner's large collection of interesting 'bits and bobs' - it is like a museum! The rooms have high ceilings and awesome old style doors and each room has its own exotic... More

Whilst we didn't get to stay here since it was fully booked, this wonderful elderly couple who own it helped us no end during our stay. We had dinner there, visited daily for a chat, and were able to use the services of the Dona's nephew, Rolando, to go to El Nicho, as well as a nearby Musuem about the... More

The worst place in Cuba: it is a colonial house, but the host room is not restored and the toilet does not work properly. The owners pretend to be very warm and kind, but at the moment of the bill, they charged us too much. When I kindly asked if the price was correct, they gave me some money back,... More

We stayed 2 nights with the very hospitable Leonor and Armando in their lovely, if somewhat quirky, central city home. Upon arrival we were greeted with a video showing the highlights of the local area, of which Leonor and Armando are keen ambassadors for. Unless you are planning to spend a day travelling out to the national parks the sights... More
