This romantic, sea front located mansion hotel is located at the quiet punta gorda part of Cienfuegos. The mansion is like a birthday cake you dreamed of. Interior is dated but charming. Bedrooms basic with airconditioning, bath and fridge. Fantastic sea views from most rooms. Breakfast is reasonable good and freshly made, remember! This is Cuba! The breakfast area provided... More

We spend one night as stopover to Trinidad in the Palacio Azu. It is a small, colonial style Hotel. Rooms are clean and spacious. The view from the terrace and roof top is splendid – you are overlooking the marina and the Cienfuegos Bay. It's 15 min walking distance from the city centre. Service staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast... More

We only had one night in the Palacio Azul but it was just the kind of quirky, unusual, friendly place we like. It's a folly of a villa, painted a pretty blue with a rooftop terrace with a mirador so you can drink your special blue cocktail at sunset, looking all round at the sea and the old part of... More

Located two to three kms from the historic town centre along the sea front. The building dates back to 1921 and has all the original patterned and well-preserved tiles on the floors; there are 12 different designs. Room ceilings are 6 metres high and the building is well maintained. The rooms have been furnished with pretty floral designs that give... More

The staff at this small hotel are the very best! The location is excellent, within a short bicycle taxi ride to the city centre and many restaurants and attractions. Several rooms have balconies overlooking the yacht club and the bay. Visit the Naval museum, the Terry Tomas theatre and do not miss our two favourite restaurants: Las Mamparas and Restaurante... Positives: - building is lovely - rooms are a good size and very clean - nice rooftop terrace with good view - breakfast decent if you like eggs. Consists of fruit platter, eggs anyway you want and toast. - quiet location next to yacht club, which has a nice bar. Close to some decent restaurants, best of which is the... More

Lovely hotel caught between the old town and the Punta Garda. Good friendly service.. and thankyou Jaidi for the lovely towel art... Take the recommendations for eating out... both the Largato (tip of Punta Garda)... although contrast in mojitos in afternoon compared to evening were quite stark (!) and the Finca de la Mer are good. We stayed in the... More

During our honeymoon we stayed here for 3 days and we remain special thoughts at this hotel. In the evenings we stayed at the roof of the hotel, with sea view, smoked some Habana's and sipped from our Mojito. The hotel is divided in several rooms, these are quite large and very nice decorated in old style. The staff was... More

This hotel painted powder blue is in a beautiful location on Punta Gorda of Cienfurgos. The staff, some of who included George, Genet, Mariam and Jaidy went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Larrida was a driving force behind the restoration of this hotel and was very proud of it. We had the "Dalia" room, it was... More

Great location on bay. Some rooms have terraces with view of bay. We had 'Dalia' - probably the room/terrace with the best view. The Hotel has an unshaded roof terrace (& tower) with 360 deg views of bay etc. On arrival we were welcomed with a daiquiri from the helpful and friendly staff. Rooms are large with high ceilings. The... More
