Great spot on top of Spirit Rock. Friendly staff. Rooms are quaint cabin feel. Clean, beds are ok. Nice to have a back door out to the back yard. You can walk over to the edge just through the trees. Great economic place to stay if you are just looking for a place to put your head down overnight.

I stayed at the Spirit Rock Motel over the Labour Day weekend and despite the reviews I found the place to be spotless. The beds were great, the rooms were very clean and the overall experience was perfect. I will definately stay there again!!!

We came in from the late ferry, looking for a nice and reasonably priced place to stay. Not too many B&Bs in the city, so we returned to the northern end. We found a motel with friendly and clean rooms, honest rates, everything recently renovated, friendly owner with interesting Quilt Shop, we will come again!

Tried to use jacuzzi tub, but when the jets were turned on, dirty water came out. Obviously hadn't been used in a while. Rest of room was alright, but bathroom was yuck. Paid too much for this room. Has a friendly cat who came to greet us at our motel room door.

The web site was what decided us to stay overnight on our way to Manitoulin Island. The bed was lumpy, the pillows were not fresh so we used our own. The back door was broken and unable to lock. The room was sort of clean but dingy. Have stayed in worse but this was not worth the rate.

I was very disappointed with this particular motel. I don't go on vacation to spend my time in the motel, however, when I am ready to rest at the end of the day; I fully expect a comfortable bed.
