We have a time share with RCI which we have used frequently to exchange to the lodge. We live an hour away so it's convenient for us to get too. We generally use it in conjunction with our family to stay while we ski at the peaks at the other end of the lake. When our kids were small we... More

Thank you for your feedback! It is a pleasure for us to have you as yearly guests! Of course, we want to encourage you to come back year after year. We can appreciate your desire to have more activities during the winter. More creative thinking is needed on our part....great idea for the firepit!!!. Barbecues are located outside each building... This was a beautiful resort with many of the winter activities we wanted to experience. Ice Fishing, Snowmobiling, Ice Skating and Snowshoeing. We are not skiers but Calabogie Peaks is close by. We caught fish - perch, pike and even a mud puppy. The pool was well used and in need of a makeover which we were told by resort... More

Next to sled trail. Two parking spaces per unit, so room for trailer. All units are 2 level, with full kitchen, dining, fireplace, patio, balcony, lake views. The A-units have pull-out in lower level, queen upstairs. Separate baths. There's a BBQ shelter, boat launch and dock. Within walking distance to small grocery store and restaurants. Clean and spacious. Stay the... More

nice spacious place, full kitchen was usefull and grocerie store within walking distance. Cross country trail not far away, but must drive. Would recomend this spot without any worries. It would be nice if the restaurant was reopened.

Thank you for your feedback! Although we have had such cold weather, guests continue to enjoy the beauty that surrounds the resort. The indoor pool is always a hit in the winter; where else can you lay in the sun and look at the snow covered mountains!!! We are also excited to announce the onsite Restaurant will be opening in... The room which can sleep 4 is two levels with two balconys, kitchen fully stocked with things for cooking, two bathrooms, fireplace, two TV's... Overlooking water, or ice in this case. I'm not sure if all the rooms are the same but this one was excellent. The pool, spa are not in the same building so be prepared to walk... More

Thank you for your comment! Work continues in the pool area. We recently installed new boilers and an HVAC system. Our goal is to have the pool painted, hot tub maintained and resurfaced plus clean the retractable roof ~ April 7 - 21, 2015. Nice place to be in this cold weather! At that time, new signage will be in... More

I have been a timeshare owner at the lodge for a number of years. The previous "owners" in the beginning seemed quite good. There was an outdoor hottub on the deck and a large dock extending out into the bay allowing enough room for everyone to dock there boats or swim from. The hot tub was even hot. There was... More

Thank you for your feedback! Yes, the heat system in the Reception area has been subsidizing the pool area until the new HVAC system is ready for use; we are hoping this week. That will mean heat in the pool area and a dryer atmosphere. We had repairs completed on the hot tub on Saturday and a new blower will... More

My wife and I spent a week at the lodge while skiing up the road at Calabogie Peaks. Just 5 minutes from the hill the lodge is a great place to stay hitting the slopes. The Lodge is a year round resort with access to the lake in the summer months and skiing in the winter with hiking any time... More

We came back to Calabogie for the holyday. The shallow sandy beach, climbing structures, half frozen lake were astonishing and the indoor pool and toy-filled playroom were all used and everyone, big and small had a great time. We had some good skiing as well. Our condo deck overlooked the water and gave a real cottage feel. The tranquil setting... More

This resort was much better than what I expected! My boyfriend and I were assigned unit A107 on our Friday-Saturday stay. This unit was very heart warming and gave me that homey feeling. This unit was a 1 bedroom, but can accomodate 4 comfortably. Timing was perfect, snowed as soon as we got our room. We brought a weeks worth... More

At the end of October, my family spent a weekend at Calabogie Lodge (not to be confused with Calabogie Peaks resort). What a treat: even at that time of the year, the lake is beautiful and the surroundings are a pleasing sight. The unit we stayed at, I assume similar to the other units in the resort, was a tasteful... More
