My husband and I enjoy rock-hounding and off-roading in the Henry Mountains and the surrounding desert in the spring and fall. It has always been difficult to find a convenient place to stay, until now. Ticaboo Resort is ideally located and is a lovely green oasis in the red sandstone desert. There is easy access to many designated ORV trails,... More

After leaving Monument Valley and the Valley of the Gods, we needed a hotel for the night en route to Torrey and the Capital Reef National Park. We went to the Natural Bridges National Monument first (a must for tourists and very quiet) and then through parts of the Glen Canyon area en route to Tiacaboo. Many hotels were fully... More

Ticaboo Lodge is not the only lodging around, they're just the best. There is a place in Bullfrog run by Aramark located in Glen Canyon National Park.3 years ago I decided to have a enjoyable time in Bullfrog and use one of Aramark's lodgings as our resting place. For the price we paid, I was sure it would be an... More

This resort has a great location within minutes of Bullfrog marina. Great if you want to go boating for the day. The common areas have been nicely upgraded, the rooms are motel 2.5 star. The customer service is absolutely excellent. I had a problem the resort did everything possible to solve. There is an on site restaurant open for breakfast... More

Having just moved to Utah from the Midwest, we jumped on a Groupon to stay at Ticaboo Resort. We knew this would give us a "base" close to Lake Powell and Goblin valley. For the price we paid, it was a good value, but I'd be reluctant to pay full price. So first off, the good: The staff is awesome.... More

Thank you for your nice comments. I do apologize that you had issues with your room. As the General Manager I would have moved rooms if I was made aware. I will discuss this with housekeeping and I do hope you will stay with us again. I was the one who served you at Mokis that day and remember your... More

Place was pretty quite when we arrived in late September. We stayed here between Beaver and Moab and caught the first ferry across the lake. We booked a Deluxe 1 King Bed and it was worth the extra money. Came with a couch and table. Newer furnishings and linen. Only place I've ever seen where ice is a quarter. Restaurant... More

A wonderful family and K9 friendly retreat. The propane grills poolside make it a affordable way to dine with a lower income large family after swimming and sea kayaking at Powell via Hobie beach. Sand between you and your dog's toes never felt better; while with a thought that you will be back in complete comfort of The Ticaboo Lodge,... More

I stayed at the Ticaboo for 4 days and I was impressed with the facility, cleanliness, service and the location. Facility - well kept and updated rooms. Nice pool and the resort provides 3 gas bbq's for the guests to use which we did. Cleanliness - the grounds and our room was as sharp as can be. Service - Impeccable... More

This was a lovely resort with lovely people running it! My husband and finally arrived after a 7-hour blunder (my fault!) because I booked North end of Lake Powell and GPS first took us to South end then tried to take us through the lake!...what a night! Anyway, the people couldn't have been any nicer. Gave us a beautiful comfortable... More

What a wonderful find at Lake Powell. Located a very short drive from Bullfrog Marina, Ticaboo is an oasis of comfortable accommodations and outstanding customer service. Clean spacious rooms, quality bedding and towels, good ac. The resort stands alone in the marina area with a great pool and small cafe. We rented a Razor from the resort to play in... More
