Stayed here Feb of 2013 for a weekend. This place is so quite and peaceful! Paul and Charlotte has done this place right and the Lobster supper was fantastic! Perfect little place to get away from the everyday without traveling too far. Can not wait to get back here!

Don't hesitate to book your cottage here! We have had a wonderful experience,we booked the "romance cottage"..it is steps away from the ocean,is exceptionally clean and has an electric fireplace, whirlpool tub, well stocked kitchen, outdoor campfire, and patio deck. Charlotte cooked us a delicious lobster dinner delivered right to our door complete with homemade blueberry pie for dessert! Hosts Charlotte and Paul are... More

We've just spent Christmas at Whispering Waves, and it was magical. Upon arrival, we found the electric wood stove lit, the fireplace channel playing Christmas music, and the cabin decorated, interior and exterior, for the season. The table was set, and hosts Paul and Charlotte left a bottle of wine, a small bowl with grapes, chocolates and Nanaimo bars, and... More

My family stayed in one of the beautiful cottages on our ‘German road trip’ across Nova Scotia and didn’t want to leave :-) The location right by the ocean is absolutely beautiful and so special; and the cottages are fantastic! Charlotte & Paul made us feel very welcome and we can’t wait to come back very soon.

We spent 25 days here while working in the area. Lovely view, nothing like sitting on the deck, listening to the waves gently lap the shore. You can watch a fishing boat pulling lobster traps, or see a seal bobbing about. If peace is what you want, it's abundant here. Jacuzzi tub in the cottage, well stocked with kitchen wear.... More

We spent 2 nights June 14 & 15, 2012 for our 25th anniversary at this beautiful spot. Charlotte and Paul made us feel very welcomed. There was a breakfast basket in the fridge upon our arrival. Containing a pound of bacon, half a dozen eggs, butter and bagels. The lobster and chicken supper that Charlotte delivered to our door was... More

Ever since I moved to Nova Scotia (from Nfld), whenever I booked a cottage for a get away, it was always PEI. This summer, we decided to stay in Nova Scotia, in the Shelburne/Yarmouth area. What a great decision. For two days, we stayed at Whispering Waves. The website did not do full justice. I sat on the ocean edge... More

Was surprised by my boyfriend with a two day getaway... Whispering Waves was a great choice, the cottage was clean and very spacious.... We were treated to a close personal visit from the bunnies (ate from his hand) The sunsets were breath taking, we went for a couple walks. The birthday dinner of salmon was delicious, and Charlotte was so sweet to... More
