The personable hosts provide a comfortable dedicated guest living room well-stocked with books and DVDs about Nfld. for your enjoyment while staying at Rosedale Manor. My wife and I spent three nights there in september 2007. The owner is very nice (his wife was away so we didn't get to meet her) and makes a mean breakfast, he even made gluten-free bread ! I have stayed in B&Bs in Germany, France & Scotland and the Rosedale Manor is definitely the best. It is located in an elegantly refurbished, historic home along the waterfront on the south coast of Newfoundland. The rooms are comfortable. My daughter and I stayed at the Rosedale Manor in late April. We felt very welcome and enjoyed our stay very much. I have a restricted diet (no gluten) and Philip create the most delicious cookies ever. Rooms are very comfortable, dining room is exquisite and living room is very relaxing. You feel like at home but much more pampered.... more

We needed a place close to the ferry from Nova Scotia in Argentia, and someone recommended this place to me. Phillip and Linda are the perfect couple to be running a B&B. Very interesting people and so friendly. The breakfast was delicious. Fill out your breakfast menu the night before. Phillp is an excellent cook. (His homemade bread is delicious) One of the best breakfasts I had on our 3 week trip to NL. Very homey atmosphere. Definitely recommend. $74... more
