My husband and I spent one night at the Natchez Grand Hotel. We had a river view room with 2 queens. We spent our first night at a B&B and Natchez is such a beautiful place decided we needed an extra day and the B&B was full--I found a great internet rate for the Grand Hotel and booked it. The... This place sure does look nice when pulling up, the lobby is nice and the whole place just had a nice charming look and feel. The dude at the front desk needs to find a job he likes...Lets just saw we were not greeted with a warm friendly smile. The room we were assigned had a nice view of the... More

We stayed at this hotel for most of August and some of this month. We haven't had a bad experience yet. All the front desk staff tries their best to work with us and all the maintenance and cleaning ladies have all been very kind and offering of help. The rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. The breakfast is... More

I had high hopes for this hotel on our first ever trip to Natchez. The trip was a "Get Away" for my wife's birthday. We were very impressed with the location just on top of the bluffs overlooking the Mississippi River. I had booked a King Jacuzzi Suite so we would have a balcony on the river side of the... More

We apologize for the noise caused by a maintenance project in the first floor meeting room. This part of the project should have been scheduled at a more appropriate time. We are aware of the buckling deck boards shown in your photo and are looking into replacing the deck with an alternative recycled material that would not buckle when wet.... More

First of all: we knew that this grand hotel was not going to be anything like an european grand hotel, so our expectation was to get a normal, friendly and clean hotel. We booked a room with a kingsize bed and riverview for our honeymoon trip. All we got was a room with two queen-sized beds and parking area view.... More

Our view, second floor middle balcony, was great. Our balcony and the two on each side had buckling on the flooring. Very scary soft spots also. We paid a little over $200.00 a night for the king jacuzzi suite and there was mold on the bathroom door and our jacuzzi tub had not even been cleaned, it had soap scum... More

This seemed to be a new hotel built in what I would call Georgian brick style. It's beautifully located across from a walking burm and the River. With the exception of the first desk person we encountered, who just couldn't find a place to store our few bags (on motorcycles) because we arrived early, every other staff person was friendly... This is good option if you aren't interested in staying at a bed and breakfast or one of the historic plantations. The rooms are a good size and the standard queen room can easily fit 4 people. However, the rooms were dark due to lighting and colors. The hallways are a bit narrow. When we tried to check in, we... More

The Natchez Grand Hotel sits high above the Mississippi River with expansive views up of the river as well as sunsets and storms. It is near many restaurants and Antebellum houses. We stayed two nights in August 2014 and overall had a wonderful visit. The rooms were clean, the bed was comfortable and the views were great. The areas of... More

Thank you for your kind remarks regarding your recent stay with us. We are currently in the process of having our windows cleaned from the outside, as the windows do not open so it is quite the task and requires appropriate timing. We hope you will be more pleased with this aspect upon your next visit. We are also checking... More
