The location is great. You can walk to everything in Natchez and it is beside the riverfront trail. However, they need customer focused staff who smile and go above and beyond for the guests. This wasn't my experience at the front desk, with housekeeping, or in the breakfast room. Those were the only three areas where I personally interfaced with... More

I was lucky to get a 4th floor room with a view right over the Mississippi. The hotel is in a great location all the downtown area, which is beautiful, and the river, are right there. It's a shame, then, that other things are lacking. The room smelled very damp, and all sounds in the hallways outside can be heard... More

I reserved through my corporate travel agent to stay on 2 consecutive weeks. First week I checked in and asked for a riverside view. Was told "No!" Before I checked out, I asked if I could get riverside the following week. Was told that since I booked through 3rd party, I'd have to take it up with them and pay... More

We booked this room through a 3rd party (Expedia) and not only did they raise the rate $12 while booking online, when we got here we had, not the king size that we paid for, but 2 queens on the 2nd floor above the outside air conditioner units. When I went to the front desk they said it would cost... More

I was really excited to stay at The Grand Hotel, but when I got there it was not grand at all! The First Lady I talked to at the front desk was pleasant enough, but when we got to our room, it was not the room we reserved, so we went back downstairs and talked to a second lady who... More

Natchez is a wonderful town to visit. And if one wishes to be at the center of it all, stay at the Grand. So close to many of the most popular places to visit that walking is a very good option. The bluff over looking the Mississippi River is just across the street. Breakfast is included in the price of... More

Rooms were great, but when we wanted a fresh brewed cup of coffee, the hotel did not offer any....the historic homes we visited were magnificent. Several restaurants that were great were the Cotton Alley Café and The Camp!

Thank you for the review of your recent stay with us. It appears that you had an overall enjoyable visit to Natchez. We provide fresh coffee in our breakfast dining room daily, which also remains available to guests beyond breakfast hours, until it runs out. Coffee is also available at our lounge in the evenings. this was a nice hotel last year when we stayed, but so much worse this time . Do they know what that hose on the vacuum is for?? the daily cleaning was not good enough to keep this hotel from needing a humongous spring cleaning. We won't be back next year..

I travel with 3 women. We go somewhere every year. This year we chose Natchez MS. The best decision we have made in a long time. We usually take our trips in March. This year it happened to be during their Antebellum Pilgrimage. What a great decision!! We were able to see some beautiful homes, eat at some of the... More

Quiet, fairly clean room on the 4th floor. Chair upholsty and bead spread...not in good shape. Needs a lot of deep cleaning and better bed linens. Now to customer service. The staff seemed tired and testy. Breakfast is good IF you get there before they decide to close. I got there at 8:40 (they close at 9). There was no... More
