I have stayed at the Grand a couple of times in the past. It is conveniently located a very short distance from the Mississippi River Bridge in downtown Natchez. It is close to a lot of tourist venues. This stay was somewhat disappointing. I wanted to change rooms and was not able to because the hotel was sold out due... More

BEWARE!!! I stayed here regrettably for 1 night. When we checked in the lady could not give us any info on where we could eat dinner on a Sunday.... then sent us to a restaurant that was within "walking: distance (it was not! we had to take a cab back to the hotel). Upon returning we went to our room... More

I have stayed in Natchez before and found the other two places to not be very clean so for this trip with 11 other couples I booked the Grand. It was wonderful, friendly staff, clean rooms over looking the mighty Missippi. Breakfast included in the price was fabulous and served on China dishes instead of paper plates! The biskets and... This hotel is what it is; don't expect more and you'll be happy. Yes, they charged us an extra 10 bucks a night for parking and breakfast (for 2) but the location and the comfort and cleanliness and the unpretentious nature of the hotel made it easy to overlook this. Ben, the big-mouthed barman (self-styled) made me laugh and while... More

We stayed here one night on a road trip along the Mississippi and wished we could have stayed longer. Great bedroom with a fantastic river view. The lite american breakfast advertises is very substantial and excellent quality. Natchez is a lovely town well worth a visit and this hotel more than does it justice.

Business travel took me to Natchez, MS for a week long stay at the Grand. The decor is fairly nice, still rather modern. The rooms were comfortable and other areas are clean. The breakfast is good. Things like parking, wifi and the breakfast aren't included with the room price. You have to pay an additional fee for those things. The... More

The hotel is lovely & the staff is great. But, I'm here to tell you the highlight of our stay came this morning at the breakfast that came with our very reasonable rate. Ms. Charlene makes the BEST GRITS I've ever eaten in any restaurant ever!! I mean coast to coast...luxury to hole in the wall. This lady is the... More

We had an unusual check-in experience. We arrived in town late - with no reservations anywhere - and most places were booked. We called them and they did have a king room available. We drove over and then found out we needed to "reserve our room" on-line (in the lobby) to get the best price. Seems like the desk should... More

Hubby and I stayed here on July 3rd, mainly because of location. We arrived early and asked if we could check in. She said come back around 1:30, the room should be ready. So we went back around 1:30, room wasn't ready - she said come back around 2:30. In the meantime lots of other people were checking in even... More

I booked the Grand on a recent road trip because it's right on the Mississippi River and I had booked an Econo Lodge the night before and decided the family needed a break. We came in at night. The Grand looks like a luxurious New Orleans hotel, but without the stinking streets full of drunks. My experience with hotels like... More
