Location is the selling point. I thought the property was older than it is until I read its opening date on here. Our room was very nice but I agree with the post about the hardwood floors. They were noisy. Bed was fine. Bathroom was fine. Everything else was fine. Not a bad value for us.

Arrivéd at 17.30 hours on sunday 16th June 2013. Easy to find hotel. Good to park the car. Hotel is nice located. Looks good from the outside. Room on third floor with view on the Mississippi river and bridge which at night looks great. Large room and large bathroom and fine towels. Lot of space. Room not very clean. Found... More

Old fashion hotel with big rooms and everything else you can expect from a good hotel: swimming pool, guest laundry, fitness center, bar, restaurant, parking. Breakfast was OK with the usual bacon, scrambled eggs, cereals, etc. However, more attention could be given to refilling. We had to wait a long time for scrambled eggs and coffee. The view of the... We decided to drive to Natchez to celebrate our 40th anniversary. My husband pick this hotel because of the location. We paid $149 for a river view while other people checking in paid $109 for the king room city view. The extra $40 is not worth the view so get the cheaper city view. We had the same experience as... This is a beautiful grand old hotel. We had an amazing view from our riverside room. There isn't a balcony, but the windows open. The hotel is across from a park and fountain right on the Mississippi. There isn't anything to obstruct views from the room. Breakfast was typical, and there was wifi. The staff was friendy and check in... More

The selling point for this hotel is the location. It is called "The Grand Hotel", which I don't see. I stayed here when it was a Country inn and suites. Don't get me wrong it is clean, has a decent breakfast, and a good location. I would call this hotel average with a higher than average price tag. I also didn't... More

The Hotel is in a beautiful position overlooking the Mississippi , just above the infamous Natchez under the Hill ! Our Room was lovely and the Breakfast we had each day of our Stay was fine, the main critisisim was the lack of a Bar in the evening, as the Bar in the Hotel closed at 19.00 , as it... More

We arrived on a Thursday evening as the sun was still out. While checking in, the desk worker continued to answer the phone and make phone calls. She did keep apologizing to us but I did wonder why we had to keep waiting for our check in to be complete. As she handed us our keys she told us that they... More

They've been remodeling this hotel over the past year, and you can tell that some of the things still need to be tuned up. But overall a very pleasant experience. Good included breakfast. Good cleanliness. Excellent attitude and friendliness from the entire staff. Elevator complaints, plumbing problems, really minor. And if you're interested in seeing the downtown historical area of... More

This hotel clearly states on it's website that a credit card will be charged 1 night + tax upon booking. However, they have placed a hold on funds for 3 nights charges and have failed to release the hold even after being paid via other means. When you try to contact a manager or supervisor, you are told over and... More
