For our fall retreat we wanted to spend the weekend in Natchez after hearing so much about its history and beauty. Rather than a B&B room, we really wanted space to spread out and do our own thing. Locust Alley did not disappoint.
This space is a large loft-style apartment above a restaurant and fantastic imports store in downtown Natchez. What better way to experience this gem of a town than to stay in an historic building?
The owners were very accommodating, stocked the apartment with milk, o.j., coffee, cereal, and fresh fruit. In the morning fresh pastries from a local bakery were delivered to the bistro set just outside our door on the cute porch/deck.
The couple lovingly restored this space, which includes a gorgeous bath, cozy bedroom, a kitchenette (sink, fridge, microwave, cupboard), and a "great room" with a sofa and extra sleeping area. There is ac in the unit and the bedroom has a powerful ceiling fan.
