Sunset View Guest Cottage overlooks the Mississippi River in Natchez. The cottage is tastefully furnished with lovely antiques (some of which are the owner's heirlooms), hardwood floors, oriental rugs, great art and other decorative objects. There is a huge great room, full kitchen, furnished screen porch, spacious bedroom with exceptionally comfortable bed and a custom tile bathroom with separate shower... more
My husband and I stayed in the Sunrise Cottage for two nights to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We love historic homes and really prefer to stay somewhere like that rather than a generic, impersonal hotel. That being said, we had every modern convenience you could ask for. The cottage is beautifully furnished, comfortable and not "stuffy". I enjoyed the claw... more
My wife and I traveled to Natchez recently and stayed in Tom's sunset view cottage. What an exceptional experience! From the small touches like fresh pastries, snacks and beverages to the exquisite bed and extra large shower with two shower heads, to the amazing view of the mighty Mississippi River - Tom has it all covered. And as if the... more
This is a wonderful, new cottage very well located just outside of town in a peaceful and private location on the edge of the bluff overlooking the Mississippi River. It is set well back from the lightly travelled Cemetery Road, with incredible views to the west over the river. The cottage is new, very well designed, comfortable and feels more... more
The only problem we had staying at Sunset View was it only lasted 2 nights. My next trip to Natchez and stay at Sunset View will be a little longer. Everything there was excellent. I could have stayed on the rear screened porch and read and slept forever. All while watching the river roll by. The little cottage we stayed... more
My wife and I spent five wonderful days in Natchez, May'08. What made our time so very enjoyable was our stay at the Sunset Cottages B&B. Not your typical B&B as you have your own cottage and a nicely stocked fridge and kitchen to do your own thing. The cottage and its location cannot be beat. It is a little... more
On our honeymoon, my new husband and I took the Natchez Trace from beginning (our hometown Nashville TN) to end (Natchez MS). I was an amazing scenic view. We had found a cottage for rent online when searching bed and breakfasts. It was the Sunset View, overlooking the Mississippi River. The pictures on the website are nothing to what we... more
My husband and I have made Natchez our personal get away every since we celebrated our first anniversary nearly 15 yrs ago.. Because we visit at least 2 to 3 times a year, its fair to say we have stayed in approximately 30 different B & B's private homes, cottages, Hotels, etc. By far we have decided that the SunSet... more
We have just returned from our wedding and honeymoon at Sunset View Guest Cottages and it is very difficult to come up words adequate to describe our experience. We have stayed at many hotels and other bed and breafast locations and this is by far the most beautiful, romantic, peaceful, and absolutely perfect place we have ever stayed. In addition... more
