One of the nicest inns we've ever stayed at. The home is beautifully restored and furnished, and the garden was delightful - a lovely spot to relax and sip your mint julep - and it was in comfortable walking distance of the downtown area. Breakfast was outstanding. Doug cheerfully accomodated our request for early morning coffee. Very reasonably priced, considering... More

This was my first time staying at a B & B and any other I stay in will have huge shoes to fill! The hosts were gracious, house is beautiful, the location is perfect, the mint julep was the best I've ever had (and I live in the South), and the breakfast could not have been beat! The details Doug... More

This is by far the best b&b we have stayed in. It is a superb historic house. The reception and care during the stay could not be bettered. The stay even includes a guided tour of the house. Breakfast is all home cooked to a very high standard. Stay there if you can and enjoy an experience.

My friends and I truly enjoyed a week of excellent breakfasts and delightful settings at Oak Hill Inn. My best stay at a B&B ever. We all felt pampered and we were given excellent guidance in exploring beautiful Natchez. The little details made such a difference. Our week in Natchez was truly a lifetime memory and Oak Hill was the... More

Truly deserves Excellent ratings. Historic Oak Hill is an elegant and delightful home. The attention to detail in all aspects made our stay (2 nights) a memorable 5 star experience. The breakfasts, decor, grounds, tour and wonderful hosts Doug and Don all add up to an exceptional Bed and Breakfast. You will not be disapointed. I would highly recommend this... More

We chose this B&B because we wanted to stay in the actual historic home itself, not in an out-building built on the grounds of a(n) historic house. The price was very reasonable compared to the homes that charge an astronomical price and / or where one lodges in new outbuildings away from the actual historic home. Oak Hill is in... More

In over 30 years of traveling together as friends, we experienced one of the top highlights of our excursions. We came to Natchez to follow the Fall Pilgrimage. We were excited to stay at a bed and breakfast, but had no idea of the regal treatment we would recieve at Oak Hill Inn. Unbelievable breakfasts each of 5 mornings served... More

We agree with all that has been said before. Our hosts could not have been more welcoming, we had a very well appointed room with comfy bed and fabulous gourmet breakfasts to die for. (Not literally!) Doug and Don seemed to find time to make interesting conversation if you wanted to talk. Sipping Mint Juleps and red wines on the... More

Everything in Oak Hill made our stay in Natchez an amazing experience. Doug, host, owner and cook, was very kind and welcoming. The breakfast was de-li-cious (all home-made by Doug), and the house tour was extremely interesting. Staying there made us understand better the importance of Natchez.. But Doug's family history was as fascinating as the house itself. We stayed... More

Our two night stay far exceeded our expectations, but wasn't long enough! The building and contents are simply amazing and are lovingly cared for and enthusiastically shown off by the two wonderful hosts, Doug and Don. Their hospitality is great and the food they personally prepare is fantastic. We cannot speak highly enough of this wonderful guest house,
