My husband and I are touring in Mississippi and Louisiana and decided to take a day trip from Biloxi to Natchez. We packed an overnight bag just in case we decided to spend the night and are so glad we did. Natchez is an absolutely charming city with so much to see. We wanted to stay somewhere overlooking the bluffs... More

This lovingly restored home truly lives up to its Bluff Top name! A walk along the bluff is a must. Shared upstairs sitting room and porch overlook the Mississippi. Our room, with a comfy Queen bed also had a kitchenette, and our private bath was out the door and off the sitting room a few steps away. Perhaps will book... More

I have mixed feelings about Bluff Top - the location is great, the view is fabulous, the rooms are very clean, tidy, and well appointed and the building looks lovely but it's very much a well preserved museum piece. It lacks a homely, feminine touch and I certainly felt that I dare not step out of line while staying there... More

Neil seemed a bit forbidding at first meeting, but soon thawed to be very helpful, fiercely proud of the area and a fount of information. Great room, with a shared balcony and good views, and close to walks along the 'bluff top' and down to the harbour. Excellent breakfasts cooked by Neil were served outside. Much to see in the... We stayed in the master suite downstairs of this beautifully renovated 1874 home! Neil was a gracious host and very informative. Our room had a private porch just outside our door and we enjoyed cocktails looking at north of the Mississippi. Mr B. the neighborly cat greeted us and made us feel right at home. Be sure and make use... More

A great deal in Natchez. Breakfast is served outside with a view of the river. We watched a great sunset over the Mississippi from the second floor balcony, that we shared wit an other room. The north room has a private bathroom, but on the hall. It does have a little kitchen.

My husband and I spent two nights in Natchez on 12 and 13 September 2014 and stayed at Bluff Top B&B. The house is in a wonderful position overlooking the Mississippi and there are some very good walks nearby. Natchez itself is nice to stroll around and the Under the Hill Saloon is well worth a visit. Neil provides a... More

This is a truly amazing place. Neil is wonderful & makes you feel right at home. Sitting on the porch whether it is on the porch upstairs or downstairs you get an awesome view. Neil makes the best breakfast I have ever eaten. Natchez also has lots of history in it. I really can't wait to go back there again.... More

We stayed for one night as we wanted a break from chain-type hotels on our trip. Neil's place was certainly authentic and charming and we felt like we stayed in a proper Mississippi home. The views are phenomenal and should not be missed. Neil clearly takes pride in his role and we would encourage others to visit.

Our group of 5 seniors (2 American, 3 British) have recently completed a two-week roadtrip of the southern states. We stayed at Bluff Top in all 3 rooms in early May. It is a lovely spot, and the view across the Mississippi River just draws you when you arrive. It is obvious that Neil (the owner) takes great pride in... More
