I stayed here for a "girls trip" with relatives, and couldn't have been more pleased! Wonderful rooms and great breakfast. The front porch was so nice to sit on late in the evening.. We could not have asked for a better B&B. The host were very friendly and met our every need. Can't wait to go back! more

You cant go wrong with a stay at Ron and Mimi's. Simple, elegant, and informative. The breakfast is outstanding. The grits are the best! We started out in the cottage but moved into the main house. The main house is more comfortable but the cottage is more private. You are within walking distance from everything in historic downtown Natchez and... more

If you are at all interested in history, this is the place to stay! Mimi and Ron were wonderful hosts. Mimi gave us delightful oral history of Natchez . The property is near the historic district and the rooms were comfortable and clean. A full breakfast started our days there and relaxing evenings in the parlor ended them. We would... more

My friends and I stayed at the Wensel House during pilgrimage and really loved it. The Millers are the owners and were great hosts. The house is right downtown, just a block or two from the river and near a lot of the nice old homes as well as restaurants and boutique shopping. The breakfast was excellent - the best... more

My husband and I visited Natchez in the second week in December. We were visiting family in Baton Rouge and drove to Natchez for an overnight visit. I called the Wensel House the day before to reserve a room. It is located in a historic neighborhood that is good for walking and viewing lovely old historic homes and only about... more

We stayed two nights in the cottage and enjoyed every second of our time there. For a taste of Southern Hospitality (and fabulous breakfast) I would absolutely recommend 1888 Wensel House. The location is perfect. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. We have only positive thoughts of our short stay and only wish it could have been longer! more

Cordial owners, extremely knowledgeable about Natchez and the area. Central location. Comfortable rooms, mercifully uncluttered. Excellent value. more

We heartily agree with all the five-star ratings given here by other reviewers. The Wensel House and its owners, Ron and Mimi, were wonderful. We stayed for only two nights and wished it could have been longer. It was our first visit to Natchez and we needed several more days to have seen all the attractions in town. On our... more

We had a fabulous stay at Wensel House! The house is simply divine - perfectly decorated for the holidays and location couldn't be better for touring the historic district! Ron was a wonderful, very friendly and welcoming host. He was filled with helpful hints and hospitality. Breakfast was beautiful, the bedrooms gorgeous. Thanks for a wonderful stay - we had... more

What a beautiful place! Just a few minutes from the bluff over the Mississippi, the 1888 Wensel place was beautiful, comfortable, and perfect for our stay. Ron and Mimi were fantastic, and gave us lots of good advice. The rooms had high ceilings, clean looks, great linens, good heat, lots of pillows and were just put together in a beautiful... more
