We had a weekend get-away in Natchez. The Burn was the perfect place to relax after a day of touring the Natchez homes. Nell greeted us like we were old friends. She made sure our room was ready--the ice was even already in the bucket. We got a chance to relax around the pool and enjoy the peacefulness. Breakfast the... More

My wife and I were travelling from Atlanta to New Orleans and wanted to experience the Mississippi area so we chose Natchez and the Burn B&B. The deceptively large house is about a 8 min walk along a quite residential road into the town. We stayed in the Douglas room which was spacious, old furniture and a very comfortable bed.... More

My husband and I and 3 other couples recently spent 2 delightful nights at The Burn. Nell, the hostess/manager and her staff could have written the book on the art of Southern hospitality. They were all very gracious and helpful. From the delicious breakfasts every morning to the homemade cookies with coffee at night, our every need was met. The... More

Charm and hospitality abound at this historic B&B. Nell was gracious and helpful in meeting our needs. The rooms and grounds were beautiful and well appointed. We were fortunate to see many histoic homes during our visit as it coincided with Fall Pilgrimage. Very worthwhile is you like antebellum mansions.

The Burn is a outstanding B&B as it is one of the first mansions in Natchez and you get a fine impression of how the wealthy ones were living. We stayed in the main house in the The Lucy Room. It was very spacy, clean and with authentic old furniture. The very nice innkeeper guide you on a tour in the... More

We arrived at the burn on a Monday and we were the only guests for the days that we were there. The staff was amazingly nice, the rooms where great! And the house was so beautiful, the breakfast was also amazing! I would definitely come back!

We had a great night in this historic home. They gave us a tour, as they do those for a fee if you aren't staying there, and it was very informative. The breakfast was a full breakfast with eggs, sausage, biscuits, and juice. Very nice and convenient to downtown.

We stayed at The Burn in the Laura Room for 2 nights. The home and grounds are just beautiful. The Laura Room is beautifully decorated and the huge king bed was very comfortable, but the AC is horrid! It's very, very loud which makes for a restless sleep. The bath is just OK. It's sort of updated, but the sheet... More

We arrived and were welcomed quickly. The place itself is historical home from 1834. The breakfast was in a lovely dining room and everything was perfect. They had wine in the living room at night. Our room was wonderful, air conditioning worked perfect. The location was right in the downtown area and was surrounded by huge trees. There was a... More
