We opted to purchase the Bucks & Belles Package. This was our second time staying at this B&B and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The food is absolutely amazing. With this package, you are served dinner and the first night we had steaks that were cooked perfect and the second night we had homemade fried chicken!! The breakfast is a hearty... More

Although I am a hobbyist at best in the Photography department; I spent hours...literally hours, scouring every square inch of the property. The changes of light from the sun from sun up to sun down changes the entire property. Nestled in corners, and down stairs you can find urns and statues and other hidden away gems. I have never stayed... More

We stayed for one night and it made a great counterpoint to all the modern hotels on our trip. It does have free wifi though. Looking out over the river was great and we spent a long evening on the veranda. Only when we woke up the next morning did we realize just how many insect bites we had! So... More

We stayed at this quaint B&B in Natchez, Ms. It has a wonderful view overlooking the Mississippi River. "Best view on the River" is their slogan and the really do have a spectacular view! We stayed in the Jefferson Davis Room at the Briars for the Labor Day weekend. Our view of the Mississippi River was outstanding and the room was comfortable and well furnished. The daily breakfast was awesome! The cook sure knows how to make grits! The best we have ever had and we were raised in the South. We highly recommend... More

Situated on the highest point of the Mississippi south oh St. Louis, The Briars offers comfortable accommodations in an historic setting. It makes for a greet romantic get away. That said, we visited as a family of five and slept in one of the buildings on the edge of the property, in a one bedroom suite with a kitchen, large... More

We've been going to the Briars for many years now and have never been disappointed. We're always served delicious home style southern breakfast each morning. Jeanette , along with the other employees, could not have been more hospitable & polite, attending to all our needs & wants. We even left with freshly picked pears from the tree at the entrance.

My son's wedding was at The Briars and was just breathtaking. The grounds were gorgeous and the backdrop of the plantation home was beautiful. Our families stayed overnight in the rooms and they were clean and comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. My 82 year old mother had never stayed at a bed and breakfast and was so impressed, she... More
