We stayed at this hotel for two nights as part of a group tour travelling from Nashville to New Orleans (we were first time travellers to this part of the United States). We were on the third floor and the room had a balcony which was an added bonus as there were interconnecting doors between them so we could get... More

we always stay at the eola when we visit natchez. The rooms could use some updating especially the carpet. We stay at the eola for its old charm. The staff is very friendly and they go out of their way to help. If you new modern stay somewhere we. If you love old southern charm stay here. You will be... More

We definitely did not get a room that was pictured on the site. Our room was tiny and very tired. The "replica" furniture looked like 1978 Garage sale items. It needs an update badly. On the plus side the bar was nice and the the outside patio area was charming.

My Mother And I Traveled To Natchez To Attend The Fall Pilgrimage Tour Of Homes And Stayed At The Eola Hotel. Lovely Step Back In Time Experience! The Hotel Staff Was Exceptionally Accommodating And Quite Entertaining!!!! Buffet Breakfast Was Tasty. Definitely Recommend.

A grand old hotel that could use some facelifting (i.e. paint instead of peeling wallpaper), but still elegant. Breakfast was good, staff was mediocre. 7th floor balcony view of the river was breathtaking.

This hotel is located in the downtown historic district of Natchez. It is on the National Historic Register and is absolutely beautiful inside. Great restaurant located inside the hotel and a very nice courtyard for relaxation. Rooms are adequate and clean. Great location.

Stayed for one night at the Eola before driving to Memphis. The room was clean and comfortable but the whole place could do with a bit of modernisation. That said, the staff were friendly and we had no issues during our stay. As a place for a stopover, it worked fine for us. Note if you come on a Sunday,... More

I can imagine that this place in bygone days was amazing. However, it's now in serious need of renovation. The decor is tired and in dire need of attention. In our room, the TV hadn't seen a duster for a while. However, the bed was comfortable and the overhead fan maintained a comfortable temperature in the room and wasn't as... More

We stayed overnight at this hotel as members of a tour group. There were a number of such groups accommodated while we were there. Check in was promptly handled and a welcome glass of punch and a cookie provided. Staff generally were friendly and helpful. This is an old and somewhat quirky hotel with beguiling communal areas and a comfortable... More

Such potential here, but this hotel is so run down it cannot be recommended. First impressions are good, plenty of parking and the entrance is through a verdant open garden. The ground floor looks promising as well, with grand open space and lounge areas. Check in is cold and unhelpful, most unusual in the Deep South. Stepping out of the... More
