First impression was great. The interior decor was outstanding. The lift was always empty there was never anyone down in the lounge area, it was like we had the hotel to ourselves. We were told that Elizabeth Taylor had stayed there once. I was a little apprehensive at first, as on the key card there had a warning not to... More

We arrived at this hotel and I thought it was beautiful. The lobby, lounges and public areas were beautiful. Our room was a reasonable size and comfortable on the 6th floor. However when I went to brush my teeth before bed, a huge cockroach was on the brush head!!!! We telephoned reception and were given an upgrade to a room... More

Everyone was very pleasant throughout our stay. We had a nice room on the 7th floor which afforded a nice view of the river. While there are many places to stay in Natchez we chose the Eola because of its slightly faded opulence. I love a place like this. Reminiscent of the old days. The beds were nice and linens... More

Loved our stay in this beautiful old charmer. Our room was very cosy with a large balcony looking towards the Mississippi River in the distance . Ate in the restaurant. Waitress ( Tammy ) was great and food very nice. Then adjourned to the bar & enjoyed playing some good old tunes on an original Wirlitzer Juke Box. Fun couple... More

Spent two nights in this Grand old hotel on a tour. Loved the decor and the service was great ( old southern hospitality at its best ), room and bathroom were clean and beds were very comfortable. Would recommend.

This was booked for a convention in April. The price given earlier for room rates increased for the convention. The hotel elevator is brass & has not been cleaned/polished for some time. An extra $10 per night will get you a mini fridge. Extra charges made the stay not pleasant. I would look for a more updated place to stay.... More

I have been a guest of the main Natchez Eola Hotel. My overnight stay was back in the early 1990's and, as many reviewers have noted, the public rooms are beautiful but the actual guest rooms are quite disappointing. Our room was very small and was apparently next to a noisy water pipe. Hoping changes had been made to the... More

We went as part of a coach group tour. We arrived to warm cookies and juice. Nanchez was like a ghost town as it was Memorial Day,a public holiday in U S A. The hotel served us dinner. A couple of complaints from group but my fish was lovely. The waitress happily moved two extra tables so we could sit... More

First impressions count, and the courtyard and lobby areas of the hotel are spectacular - very beautifully furnished in period style. Pity about the guest rooms, small and cramped with tiny bathroom and hard to adjust shower. The breakfast was poor - hot food was cold, and very difficult to get milk for cereal, coffee etc. Tiny 10 ml long... More
