We spent 3 nights with our great host Durell and it was wonderful. He is the best cook and we loved sitting on the gallery watching the river and listening to his stories! The only thing bad about brekfast is you are too full to have lunch. Our room was great and the bed very comfortable. Durell is a wealth... more

This is a memorable experience. Durrell is a very warm and attentive host--a very fine man. Cooks a great breakfast too. The best part is the beautiful river view from his landscaped patio high on the bluff. It is breathtaking. And his antiques rival any home in Natchez. I want to go back and didn't want to leave! more

Before we stayed at the Riverside, I was concerned at the lack of website and the low price. I wasn't sure what we were getting into (aside from the flowing reviews of the place). Well... The stay was very nice. I'm not a B&B person - at all. I took my wife here during our stay in Natchez for our... more

We arrived last weekend at Riverside B & B to celebrate our anniversary. It was warm and inviting as soon as we drove up. Then, when the Host greeted us, it felt like we were arriving home. Very clean and with beautiful antiques, this was quite a find. A beautiful bricked courtyard in the back overlooks a stunning view of... more

My husband and I have stayed with Durell many times in the past. This time we took 2 other couples with us. I highly recommend doing this if you have 2 couple close friends, because you can have the entire house to yourselves. I had promised our friends that Durell would entertain us all with his witticisms from the moment... more

My husband and I and a couple of friends just returned from a few days at The Riverside where we enjoyed the last days of spring pilgrimage. We had been there before, but it was all new to our friends. As usual, Durrell provided us with lovely accommodations and the best river view in Natchez. His breakfasts are delicious and... more

Stayed here on February 25, 2007. Wonderful B&B withh a very reasonable price for what you get. Good location if a bit hidden and offers unparalleled views of the Mississippi. House is lovely with amazing antiques. Great hospitality. Wine and snacks in the evening, and a great breakfast in the morning. Durrell Jepperson is a gracious and engaging host, full... more

My husband and I decided on taking a romantic vacation. I choose this B&B because of a friend's recommendation and the recommendations on this site. Riverside was exceptional and the owner as well. I have never been to a place that has ever matched this magnificance of Riverside. The environment, the food, the owner, the price, and everything else was... more

My husband and I just came back from an overnight stay at the Riverside. We felt at home the minute we walked throught the door. The garden entrance was lovely, as was our tour of the home. Our host, Durell, instantly feels like an old friend, very accommodating and knowledgeable. After watching the sun set over the river with a... more
