A group of us basically took over the Guest House this past weekend. Everyone was satisfied with their accommodations....some more than others. There were a few complaints about water pressure, noise levels from the other rooms, no elevator, etc. But, overall we had a great time. It was fun to hang out on the front porch and the balcony. Breakfast... More

We spent New Year's Eve and New Years Day here. It was a delightful experience. The hosts were so very welcoming and very accommodating we felt really at home. They arranged dinner for us on New Years Eve at a local restaurant with live music. The breakfast were quite incredible and we asked for and received several recipes. I hope... More

First the positive: Historic Inn (1840). The common areas are very nice. The desk clerk was friendly and helpful. Now the negative: While there is no elevator, there are plenty of steps. We accessed our room but climbing the exterior steps at the main entrance (about 10 or dozen), then going down six or eight steps inside followed by climbing... More

An old remodled hotel in down town. 16 rooms. Walking distance to many shops. Very nice veranda and new but old flavored decor. Excellent service and hospitality. Breakfast included. Rate fair for last minute reservation. This is one of our favorite towns. Thanks to a great staff!

We decided to stay at this hotel because of the grandeur of the property. Yes on the outside if you look carefully it needs some work. But on the inside it was grand and spacious. We arrived at the hotel and the woman at the desk took us to just about every room so we could pick where we wanted... More

I have been a guest of the main Natchez Eola Hotel. My overnight stay was back in the early 1990's and, as many reviewers have noted, the public rooms are beautiful but the actual guest rooms are quite disappointing. Our room was very small and was apparently next to a noisy water pipe. Hoping changes had been made to the... More

we arrive to an empty house. Sign on door with number to call. We called the number and a woman said she would be right there. We notice she appeared from down the street at a hotel. When we went inside the home the woman was running from place to place spraying very smelly potpourri spray. yuck. The home is... More

Hospitality was great. Valerie and John, the owners, are really friendly. The house is one of the highlights in town too. Located just a short walk to Stanton hall downtown. Val is doing dinner reservations as well.

The house is like staying in a plantation house, except walking distance from everything. It is clean, quiet and beautiful. We sat on both balconies; first floor and second. Coffee and tea are ready downstairs in the morning. Breakfast buffet is included at the Eola down the block, which was a plus because that is also very atmospheric. Ross is... More

Guest house, is associated with Eola hotel and a very nice place to stay. Ross, the innkeeper was friendly, helpful and very accommodating. He had lots of great travel advice, including where the local speed traps lie. The room was nice and beautifully furnished and when reserving we were able to select the one we wanted. Walking distance to the... More
