My husband and I stayed for one night during our honeymoon. I can't praise this place and the staff enough. From the minute we arrived he staff were so welcoming and had upgraded us as we were on our honeymoon. We had already been sure to book a room in the house as it was a special occasion but to... I loved every second of being on this property! It was absolutely gorgeous! My friend was able to have the fairy tale wedding of her dreams. The main house definitely needs some repairs. The roof was dripping on the second floor. And the ceiling just looked rough. It is obviously hundreds of years old. But the age of the building... More

We attended a wedding at Dunleith that was incredible. The bride came in a horse drawn carriage and bride and groom departed in same carriage. The reception was fabulous. We were able to tour the home with Guide and he provided many great facts and incites. Our son and family stayed on property. We visited them in the Castle area.... More

Dunleith is not, as someone stated, a plantation house but an impressive Greecian columned antebellum 1856 estate house on about 40 acres away from the centre of Natchez. It has class, history and style for anyone wishing to learn anything about the southern states and an almost perfect collection of staff who are clearly taught what hospitality means. We chose... A new experience for me. What a beautiful location. Peaceful, elegant, great comfortable rooms. The staff was very friendly and facilities really picturesque. You are not staying here for the features you would get at a 4-5 star luxury locale. It is a piece of history and really a nice place to explore. It really is a museum in the... More

I stayed at Dunleith for a conference and it was lovely. I booked a courtyard room it was beyond cozy. The bedding was fabulous and I had 7 pillows all to myself. The air tub was out of this world and they use Aveda products. It really doesn't get much better! The staff were attentive and charming. Lyn, Johnathan and... More

We came to this beautiful house recommended by the owner of our bed and breakfast. The grounds are really nice and the house has been restored to a great standard. The tour takes about 45 minutes and includes several downstairs rooms. The guide was knowledgeable and personable and did a great job of explaining the history. They now operate as... More

I have traveled all over the world and never spent the night in such an elegant room. This historic inn is one of the most beautiful places I've ever had the pleasure of visiting. The rooms are filled with Italian marble fireplaces, mirrors and woodblock printed wallpaper from France, and raw silk draperies made special for this inn from New... More

Our experience was wonderful! My best friend and I celebrated our birthdays at Dunleith a few weeks ago. The staff was extremely helpful and readily available, but equally significant, they were virtually invisible too! They allow guests to feel as if they are the lords and ladies of the manor. It was terrific! We went during a slow period in... More

Absolutely cannot praise this hotel high enough. I am known by my friends as extremely fussy in my tsar and high standards. I cannot praise this hotel high enough. The house is beautiful and kept in very good condition. The house and grounds are immaculate. The staff are so incredibly polite and attentive and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble... More
