Dunleith is the last colonnaded Mansion left in Mississippi and is a Must if you visit Natchez!! If it's just for a tour or for a rest. They also have an exceptional restaurant on grounds! Walking the grounds is amazing, Beautiful Fountains, flowers and wildlife right inside the city limits of Natchez!

Excellent service, friendly staff, amazingly beautiful grounds and extremely comfortable rooms - this place is awesome! We stayed in one of the courtyard rooms. If I had to do it over again, I would have paid a little extra to stay in the main house as our room was quite dark, however, the bed was so comfortable that we didn't... More

I loved this property! The building itself is stunning, the rooms are well appointed. The bathrooms feature air jet tubs, Aveda showering products and a Keurig coffee maker. The grounds are manicured and include Bocce Ball and Croquet courts. I didn't swim in the pool while I was there but it looked fantastic, especially in HUMID July! We were able... More

Most beautiful plantation mention I have ever stayed in. I would go back again in a heartbeat, would love to stay there once a year for a week every year. The swimming pool was a nice added touch unexpected but really fun. We rented bicycles downtown and biked around Natchez, taking the bikes back the following day

The ground and main house is stunning (definitely worth while going on a free tour round, we had a very passionate, engaging tour guide). The rooms are very well done. We had one room with a balcony and loft with a second room, and a smaller double room on the ground floor. Both were equally as impressive. So much character... More

My wife and I celebrated our 34th anniversary at the beautiful townhouse. We stayed in the main house in the bridal suite. The room was huge very well done with many antiques. Everything was perfect and we had dinner at the Castle restaurant on the same grounds as the mansion. The only downside was the happy hour from 4:30 to... More

History can be felt in every corner of this lovely estate. The first home and its outbuildings was built in the late 18th century in the Gothic Revival architectural style. Job Routh, the original owner, named the estate "Routhland". Unfortunately, the main house burned in 1855. The house was rebuilt in the Greek Revival style with the wonderful 26 columns... More

I would like to take a moment to reply to this review. As stated in the very first sentence of this review, "History can be felt in every corner of this lovely estate." We aim for the feeling of being transported to another era, it is hard to get that feeling with brand new cookie cutter buildings. We have upgraded... More

On a business trip to Jackson, Mississippi, our local hosts arranged an overnight stay for us in Natchez at Dunleith, and it was AMAZING! In a house filled with history and in a suite that took us back a century-and-a-half or so (though with all the modern comforts, a very comfortable bed and a tastefully redone and spacious marble bathroom),... It can't get any better than this. It is the most impressive house and grounds in Natchez and one of the few where you actually get to sit on the furniture and enjoy the home itself. As a guest, we were invited to enjoy cocktails on the porch in the evening. The accommodations were plush and luxurious but not overbearing.... More

We loved this inn because of the nice rooms and the large gardens. We had a courtyard room on the second floor and a room in the historic mansion. The courtyard room had king size bed, the room in the historic mansion had a four poster queen size bed. The buffet breakfast had a limited choice but, we could order... More
