My wife and I stayed here for two nights and enjoyed being in such a historic house. We were given the free tour of the house by Terry who was brilliant. We also ate dinner in the Castle restaurant which was superb but that is the subject of a separate review. Our room was on the top floor of the... More

The Dunleith offers an immersive luxury hotel experience in a historic setting. Visitors will enjoy the free tours and the open house access which makes you feel more like a guest as opposed to an unwanted interloper. The tour guides are incredibly well prepared and gracious. The Castle Restaurant should not be missed. Most will be pleased to find there... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Dunleith. The staff was super friendly and attentive. I recommend a room on the second floor of the main house. I inadvertently selected a room on the third floor. Although nice, the third-floor rooms have much less natural light and do require an extra flight of steps. The fireplace in the room was especially... More

We met our friends for a two night stay at DUNLEITH inn. Our room was very clean and the whirlpool tub was great! The breakfast was tasty and service was good. We could have stayed longer but the weather was cold and rainy. We enjoyed the piano man mr Butler. He was so accommodating and played the songs we requested... More

The first stay at Dunleith it was in the spring and the weather was great in Natchez. I said it was the best place we had ever stayed. Maybe the weather had something to do with it? We went back in August for a wedding and Mississipi is hot in August. I was ready for the rooms to be warm... More

Obviously no expense has been spared with the restoration of Dunleith. The entire mansion is in pristine condition and is just an amazing place to stay. It really is a pleasure just to walk the grounds. The restaurant and bar are located in a separate building on the property and both are excellent. Its not a cheap lodging but its... More

This place is incredible. We stayed in the main building on the 2nd floor and had a large antique 4 poster bed. Guests have free access to use all the rooms and we ordered dinner from the restaurant to be served in the main house dining room, so we felt like a king and queen. We retired afterwards to the... We enjoyed our tour of this home. Although the furnishings were from the current owner's private antique collection, and were beautiful, there were no furnishings, original to the home. The grounds are well kept, and the staff was helpful. Worth a stop.

A wonderful, if slightly extended, Plantation House with lovely gardens, overlooking but not worried by the main road, Dunleith is a super place to stay. Our room was spacious with an enormous and super comfortable double bed so high off the ground we almost had to leap onto it. Among the notes was a list of famous folk who had... More

The property is beautiful! Grounds are picture perfect... What a place for a romantic get away or a wedding. Great Pub and Restaurant on site...some of the best food in Natchez and definitely the best wine selection. I know of no other place that you can get Screaming Eagle, Silver Oak, Fess Parker - and they throw in a complementary... More
