We spent two delightful nights in the comfortable and well-appointed Feltus Room at Linden Plantation in May 2014, located just beside the pleasant and relaxing veranda. The accommodations and ambience were lovely, so greatly enhanced by the gracious hostess Jeanette, her helpful staff, the historical surroundings, and interesting guests. We greatly enjoyed the beautiful setting, the delicious formal Southern breakfast... More

My wife and I recently stayed at Linden. We had a wonderful experience. We were greeted warmly by the staff and were made to feel "at home" right away. The home is magnificent and filled with real authentic history. Miss Jeanette is the highlight of the stay with her stories and tour you feel like you are traveling through time.... More

If you want a unique taste of the South - Linden is for you. It is one of several antebellum homes in Natchez, and the only one you may sleep in. My husband and I stayed for 3 nights earlier this month and so enjoyed the hospitality, location and comfort. Breakfast in the beautiful dining room surrounded by priceless art... More

My wife and I celebrated her birthday at Linden May 15-17. The house was just as pictured. the hospitality was exceptional and beyond expectations. Steve and Jeanette welcomed us as if we were old friends or family. It was just like I imagine life would have been in the 1800's but with all modern conveniences. It was fascinating to stay... More

I arrived in Natchez with a reservation at another hotel. My hotel refused to honor my Hotels.com reservation. I was dismissed summarily from my hotel without any suggestion as to how I may find a room. I stumbled across Linden and I will be forever grateful. The wonderful hostess, Jeanette, was gracious and found a room for my wife and... More

All of Natchez enjoys amazing history, genteel lifestyle, and scenic Mississippi River views. One of the best B&Bs is Linden, where the fifth-generation hostess epitomizes Southern hospitality. The antique-filled rooms are comfortable, breakfast was hearty and delicious, and the following tour of the historic property most enjoyable. There aren't many properties displaying original Audubon prints prepared while visiting over a... More

Heading up the driveway and seeing the trees with Spanish Moss, I felt transported to another time and place. My first experience in a grand, historic, Antebellum home ... who's front door was used as the entrance to Tara in 'Gone With the Wind'! The home graced the cover of Percy Faith's album! What fun ... We stayed in Dick's... More

This was my first journey to the American South, and it did not disappoint. Linden has history, charm, beautiful period furnishings, a veranda where you can sip your iced bourbon in peace, gardenia bushes, flower beds of every type, and...Jeanette, the fifth generation of Connor women to claim it as home. Jeanette is a southern woman who is a force... More

A friend and I stayed with Jeannette in her lovely home during the Spring Pilgrimage April 2-6. If you want a true measure of southern hospitality you will find it at Linden. We stayed in Clarice's room in the oldest part of the house. Our beds were extremely comfortable, the room, sheets, and bathroom cleaned daily. The house is large... More

Ms. Jeanette is wonderful. We cannot wait to return. Linden is clean and well kept and the grounds are beautiful. You could not ask for better service. Ms. Jeanette's family has lived there since 1849 with her children being the sixth generation to be raised at Linden. This perspective makes the experience truly unique.
