I don't think I can say enough about great things about Cedar Grove. My girlfriend and I were looking for a quiet place to spend my birthday weekend and boy did we pick the right place! The home was beautiful, Lyda was a fantastic host! She is so warm and welcoming! Her breakfast was to die for. We spent most... More

We stayed in rooms near the pool which were which were originally service areas back-in-the-day. The rooms were quite pleasant, nicely furnished, very quiet and nice for sleeping. The grounds are enormous and the house is huge. Lyda, was very friendly, helpful and extremely knowledgeable about the local history and especially that of the house. The breakfast is large and... Our host was great and provided history of the mansion and surrounding area.. just outside of Natches but well worth the few miles. Breakfast was great as well..Would recommend this inn if visiting Natches. Just a few miles to Natches Trace.

We enjoyed a stay here on our 3-week road trip in southern USA and Cedar Grove was one of the top memorable places we experienced. At breakfast, we enjoyed learning about the old times and stories linked to the plantation. Altogether, we really felt like visiting a true southern plantation home which was just what we had been looking for.

We stayed at Cedar Grove for the hot air balloon race. Unfortunately, we did not see one hot air balloon up in the sky due to weather, but we did enjoy our stay. We truly felt welcomed and at home and encouraged to take advantage of the country surroundings. Sunday morning, my husband and daughter made their way through the... More

As soon as I drove up, I knew I was going to love it. The cell service is almost non-existent so if you are looking for some peace and quiet, you will find it here. It is a short drive into Natchez which was no problem at all. The Jordan family is great and Lyda is very knowledgeable about the... More

we stayed here for one night on our way back from New Orleans to Germantown Tennessee. as the B&B was closing for the season in a few days after I felt the place had not been kept as good as it will be in the summer. the swimming pool was full of leaves and dirty. the patio tables and chairs... We do work hard to make breakfast everything people expect from a big, southern breakfast, and we serve a different hot breakfast with fresh fruit each morning. We also are true lovers of History, and we enjoyed the discussions as much as you did. We have painted the refrigerator in the guests'/communal kitchen which is open all the time to... More

We stayed here some months back, from Australia on our road trip down the Mississippi. It was a wonderful experience, Lida with her southern charm is a perfect hostess. Yes it is just out of Natchez but easy drive in to the city and staying out in the stunning country side was great. We learnt a lot about the area... More

We were looking for a one-night, affordable stop in between our home and our daughter's. We picked Cedar Grove after looking at prices and amenities. From the time we made the reservation to our last hugs goodbye, we were welcomed by the Jordan family and encouraged to enjoy their home. Our rooms were beautiful, and the children loved having the... More

We stopped off here for a night in the Red Room at the end of a two-week road trip around the Deep South, and it was the loveliest place we stayed in by far. Peaceful, stunning setting (acres and acres of beautiful grounds plus a pool) and charming, welcoming hosts who are full of knowledge about their historic home. Oh,... More
