From the moment you walk in the whole experience was awesome. Great evening wine, crackers and fruit in the lobby and one of the most extensive breakfast buffets I've experienced . Rooms are comfortable, clean. Beds are so comfortable I could barely pry my lively 7 year old boy from it. All in all great experience - we'll be back.... More

What a pleasantly surprising welcome to the San Francisco Bay area! Let me explain. Following a comfortable five and a half hour cross country flight to San Francisco which began at 4:30 AM – EST and a brisk hike through an unfamiliar airport terminal to obtain a car rental, my wife and I were advancing with an excited yet very... We had no preconceptions about this hotel, but were a bit wary of its location abutting Route 101. It's also rather unimpressive as you approach from the road, but surprises await. The lobby is somewhat spare, but well furnished. The staff was especially warm when we arrived (as were the cookies). Our room at the far end of the building... More

Wonderful stay here. Staff was courteous and went above and beyond when we told them we were on our honeymoon. Wine and cheese happy hour was fantastic. Had dinner at nearby Fish. (was also great) and brought back a six pack and drank it in the beautiful bay setting on the back of the hotel. Hubby loved the smell of... More

A very nice hotel with lots of unexpected free perks: Internet, breakfast, a glass of wine upon arrival, cookies at night, bikes and parking. The rooms were also very spacious and had a nice view overlooking the lagoon. Even though it was right near the 101, I did not hear the traffic and it’s very close to San Francisco. I... More

We (a family of three) stayed at the Aqua for a weekend of hopping around the Bay Area and found it to be a great base of operations, and a fantastic deal. Our jr suite was more than adequate for two adults and a child. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful and very responsive to requests. We dined in... More

We stayed at the Acqua hotel for five nights in July. Our plan was to see San Francisco, Muir Woods and Wine Country. The hotel is centrally located between the sights. It is conveniently blocks away from Route 101, which takes you everywhere. Although you can see the thruway from the front of the hotel, the rooms are quiet and... More

I've stayed at the Acqua three times for business. The location can't be beat, just off the freeway, easy to get where you are going, primarily by car. It is situated on a waterway so the views are wonderful. I like the cleanliness of the hotel, the full breakfast, coffee and tea 24/7, snacks-- which all make me feel very... More

We planned to stay in Mill Valley to enjoy the sights in the area (Muir Woods, Point Reyes) but if I had to do it over we would have never moved into San Francisco. This hotel is a gem, the rooms are fresh and comfortable, the daily breakfast and wine hour fantastic. The staff amazingly friendly and helpful. There are... More

Very nice little hidden jewel in Mill Valley, about 10 miles outside of downtown San Francisco. My wife and I stayed here for three days during our honeymoon and it was wonderful. Highlights include good sized rooms (ours had a huge bathroom!) - and the breakfast each morning was terrific. We also enjoyed the wine and cheese reception each afternoon... More
