After saw the reviews about this hotel, i did hestitate to book this hotel. But to my surprise, the hotel is nice and clean. It's not a fancy hotel, but clean. I would say with $150/night, this is not a bad choice. We have never liked the breakfast in the hotel, but since my husband and my daughter got up... more

Stayed here for 4 nights while exploring Marin County by mostly hiking and eating some great dinners. At first look the location does not look all that great. It's between a couple of well traveled roads and the view of Richardson Bay and the bird sanctuary doesn't appear all that great however after just one night I began to appreciate... more

My wife and I were in the area on vacation and choose this hotel for a couple of reasons...price, close to ferry to Fisherman's Wharf, free parking/internet. Unfortunately, although the hotel staff were great, the rooms were way below average, especially considering the price. The plaster in the ceiling was cracked and peeling, the the room in general needed a... more

Went to our room and were met by a bunch of cigarette smoke in the hallway. I wasn't aware that this was not a non-smoking hotel, and, that there wasn't even a non-smoking wing. I clearly requested a non-smoking room, especially since we're traveling with our 9 month old. We were able to move to a room in another part... more

We stayed here for two nights and were quite satisfied with this little hotel. In general our feeling is in line with the favorable reviews before us. One thing I think some of you should take note is that the GPS tag for this hotel is wrong with some softwares. I was using TomTom and it led me to about... more

I was in town for a week for a seminar occurring in Sausalito. This hotel is only minutes from Sausalito. The location was very convenient. Most of the hotels in the area were expensive and I didn't want to pay a lot of money for a place I was just sleeping in. If you're looking for luxury, this is not... more

Given the price and location, this is a fine hotel. About 30 minutes from San Francisco and 10 from the center of Sausalito, it is convenient. The physical location abuts a bird sanctuary and has great views of Mt. Tam, the dominant mountain in Marin county. Rooms 202-220 have that view (and of the parking lot) and are fine. (102-120... more

I would probably look elsewhere for somewhere to stay near Sausalito. We were given keys to a dirty room at 3:30 in the afternoon. It took them some time to find us a clean room. I found the rooms to be very old that had tried to be updated but we could definitely tell it was a very old property.... more

I have to admit, i booked this hotel without too much research. I saw it was close to San Francisco and the price was right. After booking the hotel I read through some of the older reviews and saw it seemed to be a little runned down. I did notice that the newer reviews talked of a renovation and seemed... more
