Our plans had changed so we did not have reservations for Saturday night.. There were no vacancies at any of our preferred hotels. How bad could a Travel Lodge in upscale Marin County be? YUK! The tacky, broken down room had no amenities at all. I felt lucky to find the tiny bar of soap. I woke up smelling vomit... more

Hodge, Poge & Skip The Lodge When the Ho in Hotel wears One out, The Travel Lodge in Mill Valley would be the last place of rest, if you care about leaving without an atest to what is and what is not, if there is no energy in a community then what do got? Hodge Poge and Another Travel... more

I came to Sausalito on business and chose to save a little money and be close to where I needed to work as well. This was a terrible experience overall. A list would probably be the easiest...This room had the bare minimum of necessities...a coffee maker...no fridge or microwave. I had a gala event to attend and brought some expensive... more

The room smelled like cleaning products which was welcoming to us. The location is old and just off the freeway. We were on the second floor. The room was small - just like the old fashioned hotel rooms! Our hotel phone didn't work. We went down to ask for more pillows as they only had 2 in the room. Received... more

Wish I had checked out the room before paying for it. The place is pretty run down. Room 20's door molding left about 1/8" between the door and frame. After walking from the bathroom into the bedroom and back into the bathroom, the bottom of my feet were so soiled that I was leaving tracks on the tile in the... more

For a budget hotel (and around S.F. that means $100/night), I expect a clean small room, probably tacky in decor with cheap foam pillows and a polyester bed spread. The Travelodge in Mill Valley was all that, and unfortunately, more. I'll cut to the chase: there was sand in our sheets when we climbed in for the night and in... more

This was just a place to stay. That was all. It was close to where we wanted to be the next morning. The bathroom window was frosted glass but accessible from the outside. There was no curtain. Someone could try and look in if they wanted too. There were unopened mini wine bottle out that window so it looks like... more

I know you get what you pay for, and this time it was so true. This hotel is right next to the freeway, so you can hear it very clearly in your room. The hotel staff was okay at check in. The breakfast provided ran out well before the cutoff time, go early! The room was probably a gem in... more

This stay was disappointing because we are seniors and were put in an upstairs room that was the smallest the motel offered. We had made the reservation 6 weeks ahead so there was no excuse for this in April. The staff was abrupt and unaccommodating. The continental breakfast danish ran out well before the time for the breakfast was over... more
