We stayed here two nights. Had a comfortable room overlooking trees, with Mill Valley right outside our door. Service very friendly, and nice breakfast and wine/cheese in evening. Not over the top elaborate, but very nice and reasonable for the price. Would return.

We stayed in a cottage for one night so no problem with thin walls! I was surprised that the cottage rate was only slightly more than a room. The cottage was roomy and featured a real wood burning fireplace. Unfortunately the night we were there the city had a "no wood fires" rule in effect. But they gave us a... More

My room was small but adequate. I stayed for three nights. Very nice continental breakfast, with fresh fruit, good tea (I am a tea snob and was very pleased to see they use a dedicated electric kettle for hot water), bagels and salmon. I stayed in room 5 near the breakfast room. It was a bit chilly in January, as... More

My wife and I stayed here right after Christmas. The Inn is lovely with great service in a wonderful location. This charming little town is very walkable with many excellent restaurants just a short walk away. Rooms are spacious and well decorated in an understated manor. WiFi was strong and free. Our room was in the front but on a... More

We read the reviews. They were all accurate with what we experienced. The location was the best. We enjoyed the breakfast and free wine and cheese mixer. The hotel is situated next to gorgeous trees and a creek runs right next to property between rooms. The walls were super thin and it was a bit noisy. But we did not... More

After a flight from the U.K. and drive from the airport, it was so nice to be welcomed at the Mill Valley Inn. Our room was large, spotlessly clean and with a large very comfortable bed and with a view to the redwood trees and creek below. Mill Valley isn't very big; so walking anywhere is easy, there are loads... More

This small inn has large comfortable rooms. We stayed in the main hotel with a room in back and requested a room with a stall shower. The room was great and quiet with a great woodsy view. Breakfast was much better than average and the server was accommodating and helpful. We missed the afternoon wine and cheese.

I stayed at the Mill Valley Inn last week for a few nights and loved my stay. The breakfast was wonderful and the wine and cheese hour a great way to end the day. Special thanks to Euelio, who is in charge of the breakfast service, and Kelly, who worked the front desk. They both did a terrific job and... More

Stayed in Creek cottages, beautiful room, large bathroom with shower and tub, great location. Breakfast included - was ok. Very accommodating at front desk. Wish this has been a romantic trip instead of a business trip - perfect ambiance for couples, though would recommend for all.

Beautiful location. The back of the hotel feels as if you are in the middle of the redwoods. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed. There is an afternoon wine and cheese reception in the common area backing up on the redwoods - just beautiful!
