We were staying locally to the Harp Inn and having been told the pizza's were great we decided to give it a visit. I only called to book a table late afternoon on Saturday but we were squeezed in. On arrival we were made to feel very welcome and despite it being busy we were served quickly at the bar... More

Harp Inn tripadvisor reminder I wrote a short review in June for this pub after having a beer there during the Festival. A couple of days later we had an excellent dinner there but fell foul of the Tripadvisor three month rule because of our earlier review. So this review has been on hold. Here goes... Popped in for a couple of pints on a monday night. Great beer and the barman was very chatty and clearly new his beers. I this his name was paul or maybe peter. Although he finished his shift at eight he still had time to talk and advise on local places to visit. Locals were very friendly and chatty. Althought... More

Four of us stayed at the Harp in this August when we were walking the Wye Valley Walk. I will admit that we were a bit of a fussy bunch, but Grahame and Jane dealt with all our requests beautifully. They were very friendly and pleasing company. The rooms were excellent, spacious, very comfortable, very clean, very private. Mine was... More

You always get a very warm welcome from the staff. The food is very good and the whole place is shinning not a speck of dust in sight. Lovely view of the river from the patio and car park. This is a lovely locals pub with a fabulous vibe and a must to visit . Not to far from Hay... More

My friends and I stayed at the Harp Inn after a weekend canoeing trip along the river Wye. Upon arrival the landlord was waiting for us as the pub wasn't open at that time (early Sunday evening). The landlord (Graham) was extremely pleasant, very helpful and attentive. It is a small family run business and offers the most affordable accommodation... More

We stayed here as we were at a wedding and the location was perfect for this. Our every need was catered for, the beds were delightfully comfortable and the building had great character. Our breakfast was delicious; local produce that did not at all disappoint and excellent ground coffee presented in a classy cafetiere. I would recommend this to anybody,... More

Called here for a couple of pints during Hay Festival week. Excellent locally brewed ales, very smooth and hoppy. Extremely drinkable. Good warm welcome from the landlord which makes you want to go back

We have stayed at the Harp Inn in the past and always return. We know the area well and would rather stay at the Harp than anywhere else in Glasbury. The room we stayed in was recently refurbished with a new en-suite, which was excellent. The breakfast is delicious, the hosts are welcoming, and the beer/ pub is good. Recommended.

We booked to stay at the Harp Inn for the night as our friends were getting married at the Black Mountain Lodge which is just 500 yards down the road. Booking was simple and we were offered a choice of rooms. The Harp is very easy to find (on the corner just past the petrol station in Glasbury) and has... More
