This was the absolute best wedding venue! The staff was so accommodating for every request we had! It was beautiful. Jordan was exceptional! Thank You for helping our kids have a perfect wedding & reception.

A very beautiful setting for a wedding! Our guests stayed in the hotel and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. The staff was professional and very helpful in every way. Great place! Wildlife was plentiful and fun to watch (deer, turkeys, woodchucks, chipmunks).

When we go on a road trip, we usually tend to fly by the seat of our pants, making no lodging plans so we can have the freedom to take our time. We made a reservation after visiting Mt. Rushmore all day. When we went looking for the lodge, we left the "main drag" and found ourselves going down a... More

This hotel/lodge is in a very scenic part of Keystone, South Dakota. If you are wondering where to stay in the Black Hills, this is it. 7 minute drive to Mount Rushmore and less than a mile to Main street Keystone where there are shops and restaurants. My kids 17 and 14 loved feeding the deer and turkeys that were... More

This Hotel was the last stop on our trip. It was a very, very nice place to stay. It was very clean and comfortable, the beds. The lobby is very beautiful. There dining room was very lovely as well. There was a small patio off the lobby. It was a very warm evening so we got to sit outside and... More

I didn't have a room with a view, but I got a good deal online and was more than satisfied with the room, besides, who goes there to sit in a hotel and stare out the window? I love how close this lodge is to all things touristy- Mt. Rushmore, Custer State Park, Crazy Horse, Wind Cave National Park- so... More

We were very happy staying here October 26 and 27. We would have loved to stay one more day, but they were closing for the season! The hotel is nice, the people are nice, we could see George Washington from our room. The BEST surprise was the bed. It was a very comfortable king-sized bed. The sheets felt nice. The... More

Beautiful base to sightsee from. Place is tucked away from everything. Very quiet with view of the Presidents. Breakfeast was good. The grounds superb. The people there were friendly and being the end of the season were pushed to the limits. Always answered our questions in a friendly manner. My wife and I will definitely will stays there again. Three... More

We stayed at the K Bar S Lodge in early October for two nights. It made a good base to see the Badlands and Mt. Rushmore. It is far enough from the touristy part of Keystone to be quiet and relaxing. The view of Mt. Rushmore is a bit overrated. From our deck we could see two of the heads... More

Hello tx32f, It is great to hear that you had such a good stay! Sorry to hear that the view was different than you expected, we try to inform everyone that it is a distant profile view of George Washington and Thomas Jefferson. We hope to see you again soon! More

The Wife and I stayed here during a 15 day road trip. Our first impression wasn't good. We arrived in town after a 2 hour drive and knew check-in was at 3:00pm but decided to stop by and see if our room was available early (12pm) so we could drop our luggage off. The front desk was manned by what... More
