The only good thing I can say about this hotel was it looks impressive from the outside but looks can be deceiving. The room was very outdated and cramped. This was the first hotel I have ever stayed at that had an ice bucket but no cups. It had a pitcher for coffee but no coffee maker. You had to... More

We were impressed by the great location and proximity to Mt. Rushmore and Crazy Horse. This is an older hotel that has been added on to. We had a room with two queen sized beds. The hotel hallways and rooms where we stayed had extremely low ceilings which made it feel cramped. While there was a table and 2 chairs... More

Hotel was clean but it lacked some very important details like: sheets did not want to stay on the bed, so did not get a good nights sleep. Hot tub was not clean and was not even hot. Parking spots lines were marked to close together so everyone was parked wrong and was afraid to leave my car close to... More

This hotel/lodge was breath taking. We had a nice big room, with coffee service, and a fireplace. The front desk personnel were very friendly and helpful. A beautiful laidout hotel, within walking distance of downtown and the various attractions. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Appreciated the location as ut is very close to the attractions we wanted to visit on our trip to South Dakota and it is on the end of the boardwalk which has nice shops to visit that sells interesting items. Service is poor. It was very weird that I was unable to connect to the wifi while the staff are... More

Stayed here two nights. The small size of the room was a shock at first. The room was pretty clean and it was cleaned better on the second day. The management was very nice. No frills but comfortable enough and right in town. Nice change from staying at generic chain motels.

I would never EVER recommend this place to the lowest scum of people around.. you get completely ripped off by making reservations online and the disappointment of the rooms are unbearable! I wouldn't of slept here if my boyfriend would have let me sleep in our vehicle.. a let down for sure. EWE!

The White House was sort of unbelievable. Packed with tourists. The town is small and crowded. The room was small. The parking spots are tiny. Location near the Mt. Rushmore national monument is its raison d'etra. The hotel itself sits at the end of a tourist boardwalk of trashy souvenir stands and crowded food places. This can't be the best... More

Paid for a poolside room-didn't get one. They made it right and upgraded us to the honeymoon suite. Problem: the king size bed in the honeymoon suite isn't properly framed-so the whole bed curves towards the middle!! In a honeymoon suite--isn't the bed most important??! Glad I wasn't on my honeymoon....
