We were traveling in the off season in October. This is a wonderful little village town. The restaurant / bar down the street is wonderful. Great location to Mt Rushmore just minutes up the street. We were able to drive up in the dark and not have to travel so far back to the room. Beautiful room, spacious and up... More

Wi-fi was available and close to town and attractions. Refrigerator, microwave & fireplace in room. Also indoor pool. No safe, no complementary breakfast and sub par restaurant. Would only recommend if on a budget.

First off, let me state that I have never been to a friendlier hotel. Truly, they were all as accommodating as one could hope. However, this is not a resort. The room we were in was tiny. Tiny tiny tiny. I found several bugs in it, there were no extra blankets (and it was cold), there is a wall unit... More

Good room with all the basics. Good temperature, no perfume and lots of room. There is no view but access to the front desk was great during the off-season. There was a breakfast restaurant next door. I had a reservation for the Presidents View Resort but they actually owned three hotels in the area and after finding the Presidents View... More

For $99 rent + $20 resort fee this is an excellent place. Ground floor has kitchen (fully stocked vessals) with dinning table, refrigerator, washing machine, living room (sofa + tv), outdoor patio. Two queen beds on the top floor which is very small. Can see the president face mountain from patio. Great place to stay. The road leading to this... More

We were at this resort in October. It seems the streets roll up just after Labor Day, That is exactly how we like it. There was no crowd. The room was very nice and clean. The staff - esp. Scott - was very friendly and helpful for all of our questions. This is a great value for this time of... More

Stayed 3 nights. Had a good stay. Room was large, had a fireplace and small kitchen. Bed was comfortable. Quiet environment when I was there. Very convenient to Mt Rushmore - just a couple of miles away (by car). Can walk to restaurants, shopping etc. the $12 per night resort fee w seemed extreme.

We arrived at 7:30 pm after a 10 hr drive. From the outside it looked nice. Tourism season was over and Keystone was almost a ghost town.It was just me and my son and we aren't that picky. So if you are just looking for a bed, its fine. The whole place smelled. Not quite sewage, not quite locker room...for... More

We had a very comfortable room. It was very roomy with a table and chairs as well as the usual two beds. There was a fridge. Wifi was free but so slow we gave up. Close to shops and eateries. Air conditioning was great and quiet.

Just two or so miles from Mt. Rushmore, this is a convenient place to stay. Dont expect anything fancy but we found it roomy and clean. The price post Labor Day was reasonable . And you could easily walk to the nearby restaurants.
