The girl who checked us in was nice. The restaurant attached was really bad. It had agreed with the tour to open early on our departing day prior to us arriving. We were then made to stand outside for half an hour while they fluffed about inside on our departing day. In the end we just loaded food onto paper... More

First of all, the parking is very tight and crowded but we got our truck in without incident. :( Got up to the room with kids & luggage and the room wasn't 100% clean. The beds were made but the furniture was everywhere and the bathroom still had someone else's hair in the tub, no towels and a used soap... More

We stayed 3 nights while visiting Mt Rushmore & Custer State Park. Convenient & close to Mt Rushmore. Our room had small kitchen with stove, refrigerator, microwave, toaster and a small supply of dishes, pots & pans. We chose to eat out so didn't use these. Now the negative - our room was in a corner and internet was very... More

Not Clean. Bad parking. No Breakfast, but you are referred to restaurants partnered with the motel. Same problem as others with early check in. The clerk was not very polite. They advertise a low rate on their sign, but if you ask for that rate it is only for one person and one bed. I would try to avoid Keystone... More

For an overnight stay, the room was clean and adequate, and the location was very good for what we wanted. Some of the drawbacks included an incredibly crowded parking and no continental breakfast provided. We arrived road-weary about 2:00 and were told we could not check in until 3:00. The clerk did not even check to see if perhaps the... More

The hotel was clean but lacking in many of the basics that hotels provide. Really tiny bathroom-poor parking and dated décor. We were very glad that it was only a place to sleep because you wouldn't want to spend time there. The "view" from our window was priceless. On the plus side it was nice and close to Mt Rushmore... We arrived pretty late as we had issues with out Motorhome that we were supposed to be taking but then opted for hotel room instead (Didn't want to deal with replacing the alternator belt after work). The gal that came out after we rang the bell was nice, she spoke extremely fast so had a hard time staying caught up.... More

I will start with the good: Nice foreigh people that work the summer at the hotels and businesses in the area. Here is the negative: The room ( handicap as it is suppose to be the only king rooms on the property) was much too small. The bed was against the wall on one side so you had to crawl... More

Stayed here all week as a middle point of reference for the attractions in the area. It was my parent's 48th anniversary. I had called hotel previous to arrival to see what they could do for my parents before we got there. Beverly and Anna put some fun decorations in the room, and included a bottle of wine as a... More

Stayed for a total of 5 nights since we used Keystone as a base for our stay in the Black Hills region. Beverly is a delight to deal with. We had a minor issue with the shower light burning out but she made sure it was fixed the next day and made it a point to ask if it had... More
