The room was basic, but had everything we needed. It's in walking distance of everything and Keystone is a great town, we had dinner at Ruby's restaurant it had good food for a good price. I recommend asking for a room away from the pool as it can get really noisy.

Booked this room about 2 weeks in advance since it was one of the few hotels with availability. Now I know why there was availability! From the moment you walk in, you are treated terrible. No hello, no welcome. Older gentleman that reeked of cigarette smoke and the balder foreign younger man assisting him acted as if we were disrupting... More

Stayed here for 2 nights. Room 300. Giant suite with kitchen and 3 beds! Very clean and roomy! Parking is REALLY tight! Can barely open your car door. Suggestion....park across the street. Cost is $5 but worth it. Also...desk is NOT open all night. I believe it closes at 10. If arriving late, phone the desk and let them know. :)

Mount Rushmore's Washington inn was a horrible place to stay. You may save a little money, you may be in a decent location, but the staff is terrible you will be charged hidden fees, they have no room service, parking is nonexistent you will have to park across the street and hope your vehicle is not towed away! The corridors... More

Very small rooms. Terrible parking. Unkept grounds. Staff was very rude and seemed annoyed that I was there. Upon leaving for a bite to eat one was dozing off in a chair and the other preoccupied by his friend he was talking to.No customer service at all. Wi fi was sketchy at best. Had to get towel from front desk... More

The Washington Inn is centrally located in Keystone with easy access to the main street with restaurants and shops. It it also only a very short drive from Mount Rushmore. However, it is very dated and desperately in need of an update. We were placed on the ground floor in a so-called invalid room (we are not invalid). It would... More

When we first checked in I looked at the reciept I was given, and some other woman's name was on it. He had charged someone else's credit card. When we first got the room it looked nice, and having a fridge and microwave was a plus. Our room had a little patio with a table and chairs which was nice... More

We went to check in and it seemed they had a hard time finding our reservation. The young kid and the manager seem to of had an attitude. They gave us a room on the third floor and when I open the door the room is already occupied!! How can they give the key to get into someone else's room... More

This place is in a great location to walk right into Keystone and enjoy the town ! Hotel has an indoor pool ( closes at 10PM - it was very crowded!) and a hot tub, fridge, microwave and hairdryer. TV has HBO - but very limited other channels. Elevator was broken one night, but that did not effect our stay.Lobby... More

This isn't a four star resort but it is an above average hotel in a great location in Keystone. You can walk out the front door and be on the main street of shops and restaurants in this quaint little town. The hotel does have an exceptional indoor pool area. The manager, Don, was very helpful and we really enjoyed... More
