We had a big fam reunion here. 31 of us. We were treated just like fam. The cabins are basic but very clean and exactly what we wanted. You will spend your time outdoors anyway! The old 'tyme' train runs by the camp and is fun to take too! This is a short drive to Rushmnore and plenty of other... More

Like many of the other reviews I have looked over, the campground itself was OK but the manager ruined the entire stay with his insulting and authoritative demeanor. On the plus side, the pool and restrooms were very clean and well maintained. The location is great for all the major attractions in the area. The wifi was very good, but... More

Very close to town yet feels remote. Beautiful setting and views. Loved to hear the 1880 train and see it go by in the distance! Kitchen in the cabin with microwave, fridge, dishes and dish washing supplies was a plus with small kids. There was a coffee maker, but no coffee:( otherwise we had a fantastic time! Only 10 min... We stayed for one night due to the proximity from Mt. Rushmore. It was quiet (but not too busy at this time) and the staff were friendly. Some of the tent sites lack grassy areas so will be useful to have an air mattress. Wifi worked well. Overall good experience with this place.

There is not a huge choice of RV parks in this area out so season so we were pleased this was open. Great location close to Keystone and the steam train passes by on occasion which is great to see. No noise so don't worry! Close to the road but hardly any traffic. Staff friendly and very helpful with good... More

Kemp's is 1 1/2 miles up the Old Hill City Road canyon from Keystone. The sites are close together, but it was not at all crowded when we were there so we had plenty of room. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the pool and the the neatness of the grounds. The bathhouse was clean - perfectly fine for... More

The location of the campground was central to so many attractions. We stayed here a week, with one family camping in the RV part and two other families in the cabins. Our cabin was clean and comfortable. Much appreciated was the 10 p.m. quiet time and 11 p.m. campfires out. Beautifully maintained grounds. We dealt mainly with Marlena, who was... More

There wasn't much of a campground, from descriptions it seemed that there was areas off the roadway and the sites were small. Another issue was that there was no pit fires, only within the stand up grill could you have a fire. This dampned the camping mood but we made i work. Shower area was ok, pool was ok but... More

We stayed here for one night as we were stopping to see Mt. Rushmore. The lady that checked us in was very friendly. Although we didnt swim in the pool, it seemed nice and clean. We also liked the wood awning that was over the picnic table. With that being said, I would probably not stay there again and would... More
