Spectacular views and lovely staff. The rooms are a very good size and the beds extremely comfortable. We used the hotel as a base from which to explore o push bikes and we were delighted with the whole holiday. I would definitely recommend this hotel for either an overnight stop or longer stay.

Stayed here night before going to a wedding, very good welcome staff were very good. In the morning I pulled back the cover on the bed my son was sleeping in and to my disgust there lay bed bugs along side a smear of blood, my son had also been bitten on his leg just behind the knee. I will... More

Watch out you don't get a £100 parking bill when you get home. We spent a night at Abington when we went up to Skye and a night when returning. Both times we gave our car reg no when asked by the desk clerk at the hotel and were assured that there would be no parking charge. Imagine our horror... More

When one books lodge type accommodation for overnight stay , one does not expect the Ritz, however you do expect a good bed, a clean room with all facilities working. Our bed was so soft, it actually felt like a waterbed! The fillows offered no support and the tv remote was totally inopperable! On arrival we were told we had... More

We used this hotel as all others were fully booked and it was close to where my family stop in a caravan. We arrived to not a warm welcome I believe the woman on the from desk said (your way too early) this was before I explained we were waiting in the services. We then was told what room we... More

We booked this hotel as we had family staying in a caravan park and needed somewhere to stay on a budget. We arrived a little early and most definitely did not receive a warm welcome. We waited until 3:00pm and was given the card to get into our room. There was no lift so had to cart a heavy suitcase... More

We arrived at Abington after midnight having watched the last night of the Commonwealth games Athletics. Much to our horror we were told we had a smoking room, which we denied having booked. The receptionist insisted we had. Unfortunately we didn't have our original booking info which clearly said non-smoking. Besides we said, we thought smoking in rooms had been... More

We booked this hotel last minute as a half way stop point for an overnight rest and unfortunately paid top price due to it being high season. It was convenient for southbound travel on the motorway and staff were pleasant. The room was a standard 'lodge' type and size. The decor was hap hazard and no colour matched. It was... More

Not wishing t spend £1000 on a room for the Commonwealth games, my wife and I stayed at the Days Inn. For our first experience we were pleasantly surprised. The room was spacious; the shower was good and the bed was comfortable. If I (we) had to change anything, it would have been the pillows. If you are staying in... More

A really useful stop off on the way to or from Scotland. It is easy to find. Our room was quiet and comfortable, enough for a two night stay. There isn't a lot of choice of place to eat, mind you and on our way back to England, we got off at Moffat. We stop at the Woollen Mill for... More
