This is Days Inn is well worth staying a night at if you are travelling to or from Scotland, excellent facilities next door, amazing views from the car park and to say it is right next to the M74, you can't hear the traffic going past

We have previously stopped at this Motel on the way up to the Highlands of Scotland - for our summer break. We travel with our Dog - always found the Staff very friendly. Over the years have noticed the exterior has become very tired and would benefit from a 'Make Over' to make it more appealing!

If all you want is a bed and shower for one night this will do, if you want to eat please go elsewhere Like most motorway "Inns" its convenient, how would it be otherwise. It's bare and spartan, characterless rooms, but reasonable bed, good shower and excellent towels. I requested breakfast delivery to the room, three items, they managed to... More

Stayed for 1 night, en route to Oban, plus dog. Friendly staff; nice large comfy room; not a lot of motorway noise. Everything clean and fresh. Breakfast at the adjoining service area was good; better than many service areas; again, it was clean and service was quick. I'd use days inn again.

The hotel whilst being at the side of the M74 was very quiet, I slept with the window open as the room was quite warm and could not here any noise at all. The bed was very comfortable, the room was a good size with plenty of space to move around. Only down side to the hotel was that the... More

This is a clean & comfortable place to stay. We stayed 2 nights whilst attending a wedding at a nearby location. It is convenient to the motorway and our room was quiet with a pleasant outlook. Breakfast was available from the motorway services although we would have liked healthier options to be included in the B&B chitty rather than the... More

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was clean, tidy and very comfortable and after a busy day there was loads of hot water to shower in. We have stayed several times due to work in the area and would definitely recommend it.

Very convenient, lovely big room and affordable for a stop-over on those long drives. However we requested a dog friendly room (and confirmed direct with the hotel) and on arrival this had not been taking into account - luckily the front desk were able to help us out but after 6 hours driving it was a bit frustrating. No thermostat... More

This is a good and cheap place to stay. We found it to be clean and comfortable. It is close to the motorway but we did not hear traffic noise. Our room looked out north over pleasant green hills. Rooms looking south over the car park may have been noisier and certainly don't have a pretty view. Only downside was... More

Room fittings are a bit dated, and no soap/shampoo was provided, but the bed was very comfortable, so it's adequate and has a good location. We were very disappointed with the WiFi service though - connection kept dropping and had to keep logging back in, and it also only lasts for a limited time before expiring permanently. This is very... More
