Truly awful experience at The Comrie Hotel. Myself and my two colleagues were staying in the village as we were organising a wedding. When we returned at 02.30 on the Sunday morning after a 16 hour shift we were verbally attacked by two male staff who were extremely aggressive and intimidating (they were sitting in the pub drinking pints when... The Comrie Hotel is is a must for anyone visiting the area. The restaurant meals are first class with the haddock and chips to die for. The bar staff are friendly and helpful if you need to know anything regarding Comrie. The owner June is particularly friendly ready to spend time talking or sharing the odd joke, whether you a... The Comrie Hotel is my first choice of places to go in Comrie. The hotel has a nice, friendly atmosphere, and the staff all very friendly, polite and accommodating. The changes made to this hotel have really made it the place to visit. The rooms are fresh and clean. The food is fantastic and as stated before, the staff are... More

We popped into the Comrie Hotel for lunch after a long walk and received a warm welcome. The decor is very nice and we were impressed with the menu. My husband had the vegetarian haggis with neeps and tatties (well done on this as it's the first time we've come across it on a Scottish restaurant menu, would you believe?)... More

June and her staff made us very welcome for our one night stay, and we were booked into the Garden room, which we can recommend. Our only disappointment was that they did not have any venison left on the menu by the time we had dinner. The restaurant was going like a fair all day, so we were not surprised!... More

A one night stay to attend a family get together. Stayed this time in the main building instead of usual stay in the self contained cottage. A lot of work has been done to improve the decor etc. this has been very successful. Crook on the top floor was adequate and comfortable. Despite being at front of hotel we were... More

Chip shop was closed on Monday 26th of May and so my wife and I asked at the bar at the Comrie Hotel if they did carry out food. I was delighted to be told yes after 05:00 pm. I drove my wife home and came back and ordered two fish and chips to carry out. I can honestly say... More

It is with concern and perplexity that we received your review with regard to the takeaway meal from The Comrie Hotel on Monday 26th May. Haddock and chips is one of our flagship meals that we cook and serve everyday: priding ourselves on it’s taste, quality, freshness and presentation. Every meal is freshly cooked to order, and our high standards... More

Stopped at Comrie Hotel for evening meal while out for a drive and have nothing but praise for excellent service. Meal was really good - well presented and very tasty especially the chocolate cheesecake, now that alone will make me want to go back for more.....
