The rooms at Foxhills are very tired and look like they haven't been modified since the 1980's. (probably their heyday as a hotel/resort). The hotel complex (it's not a resort) makes one feel like one is in an old folks home. Totally institutionalised with access to amenities as and when staffers allow it. The only reason we stayed overnight at... more

We stayed here over the easter weekend for 2 nights, I didn't book through the hotel as it was a lot cheaper via another website. On arrival I knew it would be nice, with a long winding road through well kept gardens and golf courses, our room was a split level courtyard room, with bedroom upstairs and bathroom and lounge... more

We stayed here last weekend for our anniversary and I have to say it really is great value on the weekend deals. All I will say is that get the upgrade of 'The Weekender' as eating at The Manor restaurant is a must. The spa is lovely very new, loved the dunking pool outside. It wasn't packed at all and... more

This is a very special hotel/golf/spa resort. I am always disappointed when they are fully booked when I am in the area and need a room. Really spacious rooms and en suite bathroom, outdoor swimming pool, cottages in the grounds and several golf courses to choose from. more

Our family room was very comfortable and clean and the staff were very helpful. The hotel grounds were beautiful and the restaurant and brasserie food was lovely and very reasonable. The breakfasts in the morning were fantastic and the children were made a fuss of. Room service was very good, food arrived quickly and was hot. We were a little... more

My wife and I stayed here as part of our wedding package. The room was like a house, had a living area down stairs and a large bedroom and bathroom up stairs. Room: The living room had a large TV with large sitting area. Everything was very clean and fresh, nothing was shappy. The bathroom was large with a large... more

Well they certainly talk a good talk at Foxhills. Unfortunately not all the staff seem to be aware of the hotel's ethos. The rooms at Lyne House were superb, a lot of thought and care had obviously gone into providing little extras. However, we had to find the rooms ourselves, the receptionist was apparently supposed to provide us with a... more

I have just returned from a 2day/3night stay at Foxhills Club and Resort. The rooms were light and airy, well equipped with all the basics, and a few little extras. The breakfast service was quite good, an improvement from my previous stays at this resort. The staff appeared to be mostly British or South African, although the service in the... more
