Family of 3 had a 2 night stay in the Maplewild. Very cozy and very nice. Not a large cabin but fit our party of 3 perfectly. The couch in the living room worked perfectly for our son. Amazed at how clean, neat, tidy, and modern the place was fixed up. I think its the nicest "cabin" I've ever been... More

We spent two nights in ‘Chanterelle’, part of the Deep Forest Cabins at Ashford, Washington State, in August 2013 as part of a six week trip through North-Western USA. Our experience of accommodation available within US national parks has not generally been good (for example, see my review of Colter Bay Cabins in Grand Teton National Park) and we were... More

My wife and I spent 3 wonderful days hiking in Mt. Rainier NP. The Huckleberry cabin suited us perfectly! The cabin was clean, and had plenty of room for the 2 of us. The kitched was well-equipped and spotless. The owners, who are avid hikers, were charming hosts, and they offerd great advice for our day trips. We capped-off each... More

We recently stayed two nights in the Cedar Grove cabin at Deep Forest Cabins. This is a perfect place to stay after hiking in Ranier. The cabin is fully equipped for an extended stay, although we used the kitchen mainly to make coffee and to house our wine bottle in the fridge. It has very large bathroom with a beautiful... More

This business consists of an eclectic collection of cabins just outside Mount Rainier National Park, and we stayed in a small cabin called Chanterelle Guest House. Actually, "tiny" would be a better word than small, but the interior was done up very nicely, with a huge window through which we could view the mountain scenery, and perhaps "charming" is a... More

We stayed at Salal and loved it. Beautiful cabin and views. Love that there is no telephone or wifi! You could likely walk to the entrance to Mt. Rainer National Park. Salal was a perfect home base for exploring the park and other nearby sites. The owners were terrific, and have videos and games to lend.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay. Because of a mixup with our initial reservation of the Cedar Grove cabin, the owner offered us a deep discount to stay in one of their other available cabins, so we chose the Salal. How fortunate we were to stay in this "cabin." It is truly an architectural splendor. The... More

A recent 2 night stay at the Huckleberry Cottage was very pleasant. The cabin was comfortable and clean. The owners couldn't be more helpful. The entrance to the National Park is 3 miles away. A good choice if your visiting the park.

We stayed one night at the Maplewild cabin. The cabin was clean, the kitchen well stocked and the bed fluffy. The stairs leading to the loft area are a bit narrow and steep, but there are 2 handrails for assistance should you need them. The hot tub was clean and worked well. There is a skylight window over the bed... More

We stayed a weekend in the Cedar Grove cabin and wished I had read accurate reviews. We've spent a lot of time at Mount Rainier and I love the little town of Ashford. The cabin was a disappointment for several reasons. The cabins are close to Mount Rainier but a few things weren't so 'clear' on the website. The cabins... More

Dear Kiersten2, I am so sorry to hear you did not enjoy the cabin. I wish you had contacted us during your stay so we could have moved you to a larger cabin and one that fit your needs better.
