We made a short trip to Seattle to cool off after a hot southern summer and decided a cabin in the mountains would be perfect. We have been to Seattle many times but not to Mt. Rainer and wanted to spend the weekend hiking. Deep Forest Cabins are as close to the park as you can get, and the cabins... More

Our family of 4 stayed in the Mountain Home Log cabin for two nights. It was just wonderful. Everything you might need is provided for you. The cabin is charming, and just minutes away from the national park entrance. The hot tub on the deck provides welcome relief for aching feet at the end of long hiking days!

My wife and I spent 2 lovely days here while exploring Mt. Rainier Park in July 2015. We stayed in the Mountain Home Cabin which is spacious and can handle up to 6 people. Very private up off the main road and almost at the entrance to the park. A great outdoor hot tub on the deck was a great... More

Where do I begin? We stayed at the Barn Owl for 4 nights in July. It was PERFECT in every way. The kitchen is perfectly stocked with everything one needs including cling wrap, foil, zip lock bags, salt and pepper, dish soap and a dishwasher (with detergent). Bathroom is stocked as well, body soap, shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer, and enough... More

We stayed in the Cedar Grove cabin and it was the perfect home base for our visit to Mt. Rainier. The cabins are located a short distance to the park entrance. The Cedar Grove cabin is a studio style, there is no couch but there are two dining tables (one inside and one outside). It has a full kitchen with... More

My husband and I stayed there in June, we where going to a wedding near there and decided to make a weekend of it. It is a beautiful drive up there, quiet and seemingly secluded without being completely cut off. There is not a store close by but there are restaurants just a short drive away. The hot tub out... This rustic escape provides the ideal place to stay while visiting Rainier. The Mountain Home Cabin was spacious, clean and - with the exception of groceries - provided every comfort of home in a secluded forest setting. The attention to detail and craftsmanship of the proprietors is genuinely impressive! Includes a hot tub, comfortable beds, a convenient kitchen, and a... More

Reasonably priced. Clean cabin. Perfect location to enter park from west side. Lovely location. Comfy bed. Small kitchen. Friendly and helpful, informed owners. Would definitely stay here again. Located on a forested hillside, surrounded by greenery. Very private, quiet and peaceful.

The Cedar Grove cabin was perfect for the two of us. No wifi, no cell and no tv service combined with three days of medium hikes, immediate soaks in the hot tub and quiet meals for the two of us was perfect. The cabin has all the amenities, modern, lots of windows and set back far enough from the road... More

The word cabin isn't exactly correct. It is more like an appartment with fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, spatious living room and a hot tub if you're lucky like we were. it's close to the park and it's a wonderful setting in the woods. We even had visit on our balcony from a raccoon. Plenty of restaurants close by as well... More
