We stayed in the Forest House at Alexander's. This is a separate three bedroom, ground level home on the property. We were traveling with a family member who has mobility issues, so this worked very well for us. It was actually larger than we needed, and would work great for a larger family as it has one King room with... More

My daughter and her family and I stayed in the Forest House for two nights and then in the Chalet for two nights and enjoyed it. We have stayed at Alexander's in previous years but never in the two houses on the property. We found the staff to be helpful and accommodating. It is a nice place to stay and... More

We were delighted with this place about a mile from the Paradise gate to the Park. Very comfortable room (suite) in a very large B&B with large parlor and media room, great grounds. Enjoyed having coffee by the trout pond. While full, we found it to be very quiet and relaxing. Excellent restaurant and had two great dinners there. Breakfast... More

We had a fantastic stay at Alexander's Country Inn on our visit to Mt. Rainier National park. The inn is located right outside the west entrance of the park and has a historical feel to it. Found out that that the inn was founded in 1896, three years before Mt. Rainier National park itself was founded! The complimentary evening wine... More

We stayed in the tower suite for few days. I am an early riser so the tower suite was great. I could have my coffee downstairs while my husband slept. a great place to come back to after hiking all day. It was too hot to ever use the hot tub - but what a nice option to have available.... More

The hotel is located just before the National Park's Nisqually entrance. You can get to the trails with a short drive. There is a great atmosphere thanks to super friendly staff and cosy decor. Common areas are spacious and very well equipped. Rooms are very comfortable with a really comfortable bed. Breakfasts are also great, with good selection and freshly... More

This inn has a very personal touch to it. We were schedule to arrive very late and the front desk staff made sure we were able to get to our room and get settled. Their caring for our safe drive in at night was appreciated as we were told not to rush. Coffee in the morning and a quick breakfast... More

Stayed 4th July weekend due to a wedding in the area. Chose this based on a meal we had there last October. The room (no.4) was large, old but had modern features in the bath etc. Super clean throughout the Inn. They recently put in room a/c which was a life saver in 90+ degree temps. The breakie had 3 or... More

We stopped into Alexander's to have a early Father's Day breakfast. (one day early). As a local, I never knew that dining wasn't open to the public for breakfast. Gladly the were willing to serve our group of 8. The hostess was friendly and attentive. The waitress was excellent. And the prices where great. The menu was limited, but the... More

We stayed in Forest House with low expectations due to some recent TA comments. However, I found the three bedroom house to be great. It was a 70's ranch but it was clean and comfortable. The house was well appointed for long stays and self catering. We stayed one night with the desire to be away from an adult child... More
