After a day spent in the drizzly clouds on Mt. Rainier, the cozy warmth of this in was just what we needed. Nothing new and fancy, lots of antiques chosen with love. Then came the morning and breakfast- - - so good with great staff. We would come back (and hope the sun is here next time!)

I'm sorry that the previous reviewer had such a hard time, because we had an awsome time! everything was perfect. We were the only ones in the hotel because we were there on a Thursday night. We always wanted to stay here and decided to stop this time. The first thing I saw when gettting out of the car was... More

I'll start with the bed: it was hard and slumped in toward the middle. I've slept on comfier air mattresses. I could not sleep and even my easy to please husband had a tough time with it. When I woke at 4 am - first breakfast not available until 8 - with a horribly throbbing back and an empty tummy.... More

We didn't had much expectations and book this Inn just because of its location (close to Nisqually entrance) and the impression we had of the other hotels in the area. We booked the budget room, but upon arrival we got a complimentary update to the tower suite. A very nice room with a sitting area and a separated bedroom in... More

We had an enjoyable weekend in Ashford for the recent wine festival and stayed at Alexanders. We stayed there many years ago but have stayed in other luxury cabins in the area in recent years. The rooms are quite comfortable but you'll probably only sleep there- there is no TV in the room but a nice TV area, sitting room... More

We have been coming to Alexander's as a family for over 15 years off and on for lunch etc. in their restaurant- but also have been coming as guests of the Inn for the past 14 years over the Thanksgiving weekend-wonderful! Our older child and now the young ones still count on this long weekend together annually and we have... More

Alexander's is a lovely little country inn which has the potential to become something special. It has a lot going for it - history, a lovely external environment with a trout pond and sitting out area, and of course one of the closest accommodations to the Mt Rainier National Park. The biggest caution would be to choose your room carefully.... More

We chose this B&B because of its proximity to Mt Rainier National Park. It is only a couple of miles from the Nisqually entrance. We were met with a cheery smile, booked in speedily and was helped up the stairs with our luggage which was much appreciated. The room was on the smallish side but this is a fairly old... More

As always, we researched our accommodation through Trip Advisor and we pretty much knew what to expect from previous reviews. Although we looked at a number of cabin-style options in the vicinity we preferred the more standard type accommodation provided by Alexander's. In our opinion, the Inn offered fair value. Alexander's is very close to the Nisqually Entrance to Mt... More

My spouse and I stayed at Alexander’s Inn for one night on a Saturday evening in early August 2014. We made a reservation request on-line, and someone from Alexander’s Inn called us to discuss room availability. Even prior to the telephone call, we knew that our room options were limited. We decided to stay near Rainier just two weeks prior... More
