I used this B&B during my visit to Mt. Rainier. The stuff were all very friendly and helpful. The B&B's backyard pound with trout was very lovely and the front garden, which you could easily see from the dining room was just charming. My only small complain is with the bathroom. I was assigned to one of the suites in... More

Fantastic place to return to each day after long hikes on the mountain! For the price of a room you get an amazing number of benefits. We especially appreciated the delicious full breakfast which you can choose off the menu, free! You sign up the night before for a time you want in the morning. When you arrive they have... More

This is an old Victorian home on 20 acres that has a trout pond for its fresh fish. It is located on the main road to Mt. Rainier. It is like what you would expect of an old B&B but with a few more upscale amenities. The staff is very friendly and very helpful. We stayed in the tower suite... More

We loved our stay at the inn We were in the tower suite. It is a lovely two story room with a ladder type access to the bedroom. Definitely now for folks with mobility issues. This room is not air conditioned but is octagonal shaped with tons of windows to allow. A nice breeze. We loved having lunch bu the... More

My wife and I stayed two nights at Alexander's and enjoyed every minute of it. The staff were extremely nice and helpful when we needed advice, the room was small but comfortable and clean with an exceptionally comfortable bed, and the restaurant provided a surprisingly nice assortment of quality food. We also made good use of the hot tub, enjoyed... More

Everything was great - atmosphere, location, food and value. My only complaint is all the stairs. It was fine for a short trip but if I were there for a week and had a week's worth of luggage it would be rough!

We introduced our four oldest grand-daughters (13-18) to Mt Rainier. Alexander's was our first night's stay, coming directly from flight landing in Seattle. It is very quaint, beautiful grounds, good amenities, and just 30 minutes from Mt Rainier. We love that it is 100 years old. The restaurant serves great food. It is not an upscale fancy place but very... More

We stayed 2 nights in June 2014. The weather wasn't great but the location is perfect for Mt Rainier (if you could see it). We had the Tower (after asking if we could move there as it was empty, which was no problem. The Tower was quirky split over 2 floors, but we loved it. The building itself looks dramatic... More

The setting of this old inn is wonderful with a small lake at the back and loads of birds to be seen. It is only a mile or so from the Western entrance to Mount Rainier National Park. The rooms are a bit basic and dated but comfortable enough. There is s nice lounge area for guests and a TV... More

Stayed in the 3 bedroom Forest House with 4 adults and 2 young children. The house was clean, with ample space for all of us, but, at more than $300 per night it was over-priced for a 1960's ranch that didn't even have screens for the windows. Excellent location near Mt. Rainier and nice people. My granddaughter loved catching (and... More
