Alexander's has had a change in ownership. I have not visited since this change. I did make a reservation and cancelled it the next day. Thought this would be simple. 2 emails, 2 phone calls and 20 days later my refund was credited to my account. If this is a sample of their service and attention to detail, beware.

We are sorry about your experience. We will work with our credit company to check why this took so long for the refund. It will be great if you can also share the name under which the reservation was made so that we can track and see any other reason for the delay. You can send your details to info@alexanderslodge.com More

This is the best hotel in the whole wide world. The service of the restaurant is awesome. And the food is really delicious. They have games and movies. When we went here, we stayed in own of the cabins. Our cabin was two floors it had a balcony that was completely covered with snow. The hotel is just minutes from... More

I ate here a couple of nights in a row, and the food was outstanding. I was staying at Mt. Rainier, but the restaurant in the park had closed by the time we got there. Fortunately, I stumbled across this place. I liked it so much, I went back a second time. One night, I had the four cheese ravioli.... More

This was my first time at Alexander's Lodge and I look forward to returning. Gorgeous surroundings and a stately lodge built over 100 years ago, it exceeded my expectations. Our room was very clean, decorated nicely both as a lodge and to compliment the décor you'd expect in a landmark. The bed was more comfortable than the finest hotels. The... More

Great place to get away from the stresses of every day life in Seattle. My wife and I and two other couples spent a weekend in early November here and throughly enjoyed the stay. The rooms were well appointed, comfortable, and clean. With nice touches from the staff upon arrival of a chocolate bar and hand written welcome note, something... More

We came for weekend with family who were staying in the area. We discovered a unique, quiet retreat at Alexander's! The restaurant was perfect for relaxing after a six hour drive from Eastern Washington. The service and food was just simply the best. Our breakfast meals were delicious with excellent service as well. Both mornings were peaceful as we watched... More

My husband and I spent 2 nights at Alexander's while hiking at Mount Rainier this summer. This historic property is conveniently located minutes from the entrance to the National Park. We stayed in one of the King suites on the second floor. Although the furniture and decor are a bit dated, the suite was clean and larger than I expected.The... More

This small inn has a great location near the Mount Rainier. There is a small lovely lake in the inn that you can see the fishes swimming in the clear water. The villa is big and contain every useful things, which is perfect for family holidays! The breakfast is not that good, but I still recommend to stay here!

My husband reserved one of the turret rooms and I thought it was comfortable and cozy. The common area is welcoming with books, games, and puzzles. There was a fire in the fireplace in the evening and complementary wine to stimulate conversation. The restaurant serves delicious food. Service was hit-and-miss, however. We stayed two nights and really enjoyed it.

The Inn / Lodge was: warm, welcoming, and clean; furnishings were very tastefully done in a country motif, and the complimentary breakfast (which will reportedly go up to $6 for guests when the new owners take over in the next month) was very tasty and nutritious. My daughter and I were celebrating yer birthday, so I chose a room with... More
