Our perfectly appointed one- bedroom cabin was situated in a quiet wooded spot which was peaceful yet close to town and the National Park entrance. Carol has done everything imaginable to make her cabins delightful places to stay. Highly recommend.

My husband and I stayed in the Sunset Guest House for 2 nights and it was perfect! Carol has thought of everything that made our stay so comfortable from beginning to end! After traveling and hiking- it is the perfect, quiet, secluded, and romantic place to end the day. Loved the hot tub!! Would definitely come back!!

Carol and James made us feel at home straight away and our cabin was a delight and very comfortably and thoroughly furnished. It was a wonderfully secluded spot in a pretty area and ideal for visiting the beautiful Mt Rainier region. Whilst there were nice places to eat locally we liked our cabin so much that we ate in every... More

We stayed three nights in the Rainier cabin but could easily have stayed an entire week. The cabin was nestled among the trees creating a very private and serene atmosphere. The relaxing hot tub soothed our stiff muscles after taking breathtaking day hikes at the nearby parks. The cabin was very clean, charming and well appointed. The entire experience exceeded... More

Back for another year at this priceless, relaxing spot just outside of the entrance to Mt. Rainier. This time we stayed at the Woodland, which is off-site and just like having your own little house in the woods. The private hot tub, BBQ, picnic table and fire pit just add to the feeling of home. This unit also has a... More

We loved the Rainier Cabin! What a wonderful place to enjoy the rustic beauty without having to "rough it"! The breakfast goodies were great, and it was nice to have an outdoor grill. The seclusion made us feel like we were the only ones in the forest, which was especially nice for relaxing in the hot tub. Every time we... More

We stayed two nights in the Woodland Cabin. It is about a mile from the "main" lodge, in a very quiet, secluded setting. You can tell much care has been taken by the property owners to give the best experience possible. Full kitchen is stocked with the basics (pots/pans, dishes, spices). There is a gas grill, outdoor (secluded) hot tub,... More

Wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at the Rainier Cabin at Almost Paradise Lodging. Without a doubt we would recommend this to anyone traveling to the area. The serenity of being tucked away in the woods at the base of Mt Rainier makes for a relaxing evening after a day of exploring! From the cabin it is about... More
