Nature lovers visiting Mount Rainier National Park should not miss staying at Stone Creek Lodge, a wonderful little place situated at the aptly named Paradise entrance to the park. I loved the natural setting and the easy access to a day of hiking or touring the wonderful national treasure that is Mount Rainier National Park. These clean and rustic cedar... More

This lodge is located just outside the entrance to Mt Rainer park. Our cabin was very clean and nice and cozy. Sandy was very nice upon check in. There is WiFi available if you want to stay connected while away since our cell phones did not work.

Sandy, the owner of Stone Creek Lodge is a WORLD of information about Mt. Rainier National Park and greets all guests with a kind smile and a wonderful attitude to make your stay wonderful from the time you arrive to the time you leave ! The cabins are wonderful as are the hot-tubs after a long day hike. The local... More

We stayed there on our tour of the Northwest. Had just had a long day driving from Columbia Gorge to Mt St Helens, and then to Ashford. Sandy is pleasant and accommodating and showed us to our cabin. Sandy recommended a couple of restaurants and we had a wonderful dinner. Comfortable bed, cozy room, warm shower and a wonderful night's... More

we've spent 3 days in this lodge. the cabin is beautiful and the lodge is next to the entrance of the park. BUT for 115 + tax: you don't have breakfast (ok), they didn't clean up the room during our staying and the wi fi doesn't work neither in the cabin nor near the office (as they suggested to stay).... I appreciate constructive remarks concerning Stone Creek Lodge. This guest was upset because I did not enter his cabin and tidy up while he was gone. I respect the privacy of my guests and do not provide minor housekeeping in their absence. Also, because this is a rural area internet access is not comparable to access available in metropolitan areas. More

A comfortable stay for our adventures in the park. Our booking was rather last minute, and in high season we were lucky to find something. The cabins are very small (we didn't have room to have both of our suitcases open to get into on the floor), and rustic. We really wish we'd had one of the cabins with some... More

If you're looking for the Hilton, this is not your place. We stayed in cabin 4 and truly enjoyed our stay. There is no TV or phone service and the internet is lacking but we went up there to get away from everything. We enjoyed an evening around the campfire with others which was quite entertaining and couldn't get over... More

What a GREAT place! We stayed in cabin 3. The cabin has a queen size bed with a day bed and trundle underneath. This worked perfectly for our family of four. The kids actually argued who would get the trundle because it was such a great mattress. The bathroom is small, but that really wasn't anything to complain about. There... More

We stayed at one of the mountain cabins. It was incredibly rustic and not quite as pictured. We had a small fridge and a coffeemaker, but no other kitchen amenities. There was no table inside. The garden cabin people had wine glasses, plates and microwaves. We had coffee mugs and disposable plastic bathroom cups only. The queen sized bed had... More

The location is the best. The entrance to Mr. Rainier is just a few hundred yards away. The location was quiet and beds were comfortable. Now I do warn all the very tall people that the shower may e a bit difficult to use. I am 6ft 7in tall and found it hard to move around and get down low... More
